HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2025 #1163 – 11/29 - HCW Live Wire

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter! We are live right here on HCW Live Wire, and folks, tonight we are kicking things off with absolute chaos — a full-scale Men’s Battle Royal to open the show!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s right, Mike! Twenty men, one ring, and only one way out — over the top rope and straight down to the arena floor! No pinfalls, no submissions, no excuses. And you know half the locker room has been waiting all week to get their hands on each other.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And that’s not all — we’ve got a night full of huge singles action. Ruby Howl goes one-on-one with Mina Harker, who has fully embraced her transformation into the Lady of the Crimson Pact. Then her sister, Scarlett Howl, steps into the ring with Korbi Kong in what’s sure to be an explosive encounter.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Plus that main event — the Hardcore Championship on the line! The Morningstar defends the gold against Julius Squeezer. And I’ve got a feeling something dangerous is brewing around that one, Mike.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“With tensions rising across every corner of HCW, anything can happen — and tonight, it probably will. So let’s not waste another second. It’s time to send things to the ring—because the Battle Royal is about to get underway!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Buckle up, folks. Live Wire starts right now!”

Match #1:  Men’s Battle Royal for a future title shot.

The bell rings and the ring instantly explodes into a storm of bodies. Men crash into each other from every direction as the first wave of eliminations comes fast — “Bad News” Marvin Barnes boots Doofus Covfefe over the ropes, Jake Montrose hurls Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson to the floor, and ‘Lightning’ Ethan Hayes sends Colonel Samuel Flagg flying with a Twist of Fate right over the top rope.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Samuel Flagg is OUT! Somewhere in the back he’s blaming this on a conspiracy memo!”

The chaos only intensifies. Ivan Dragovich dumps Ghee Buttersnaps, Smasher #1 smashes Son of Drew out of the ring, and Julius Squeezer ragdolls Azrael before tossing him like a heavyweight medicine ball. The Albano clan gets mixed results early — Lou Albano III and Vinnie Albano both score eliminations, but Dick Albano gets taken out by Jet Moreno’s spring-loaded dropkick.

Bodies spill fast in every direction. The Howls’ allies get mixed fortunes — Outback Oscar, Rafa Castillo, and Freedom Fighter Flash all find themselves launched to the floor as ring space shrinks to a violent bottleneck. Nico “The Inferno” Burnett begins a tear, lighting up the ring with a streak of eliminations, throwing out Muscles Weasley, Muscles Thorpe, Muscles McGuire, and even Outback Oscar in a fiery run.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Nico Burnett is operating like a wildfire in human form right now!”

As the mid-match brawl intensifies, Ashen Vicar enters a chilling zone of precision — dropping Waldo “Peter” Winchester with the Pale Revelation before pitching him to the floor. But Vicar’s momentum is cut when Blake “Oak Tree” Hill plants him with a swinging neckbreaker and sends the White Flame disciple crashing out.

Then the next wave hits: legends, powerhouses, and faction warriors collide. Dominic Marconi eliminates Ripley, Ethan Hayes sends Marvin Barnes packing, and Jax Brenner bulldozes Rafa Castillo. Meanwhile, Jet Moreno scores a sequence highlight, launching “Dirty” Dick Albano with a perfect single-leg dropkick.

As numbers thin, shocking moments emerge — Mr. X is tossed out by Jasper Fang, Julius Squeezer is suplexed out moments later, and then Jasper himself is sent packing by Superstar Chic Monroe’s European uppercut from hell.

And then — the monster is slain.

Yeti charges Monroe, but Monroe plants him and delivers a ruthless straight-jacket suplex that sends the beast tumbling out to a roar from the crowd.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“CHIC MONROE JUST DROPPED YETI! That’s a Christmas miracle delivered early!”

But Monroe’s celebration is short-lived — Zack “Commando” Brown locks in the K-9 Clutch and muscles Monroe out of the match.

As the match reaches its final phase, alliances dissolve instantly. Blake Hill and Bruiser McPugg both fall to Hill’s own overexertion moments before he’s removed by Biceps Bannerman. Vael Thorne, Owen Zestwell, and even Skyhawk Justice all fall as the ring narrows to a brutal cluster.

One man emerges from the chaos: Lou Albano III, who tears through four consecutive opponents to thunderous boos. But his momentum dies when The Rich Athlete takes aim.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Uh-oh… Johnny, The Rich Athlete has that look again—”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Mike, he ALWAYS has that look!”

The Rich Athlete snaps Lou’s shin with a vicious shin breaker, then sends him over the ropes. From there, the final reckoning unfolds:

  • Beastfang is launched by Zack Brown
  • Dominic Marconi is wiped out by The Wicked Prophet
  • Groove Digger is chopped out by The Rich Athlete
  • The Prophet is hurled by Zack Brown
  • Zack Brown is finally eliminated by The Rich Athlete
  • Leaving only one—

The Rich Athlete

The Rich Athlete stands alone in the center, sweat-covered, chest heaving, arms raised in arrogant triumph.

The bell rings.

The Rich Athlete wins the November Men’s Battle Royal.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:

“That’s right, people — when you’re this rich, even gravity works for you!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Twenty, thirty, forty—however many entered… only one is standing. The Rich Athlete just punched his ticket straight to the next level in HCW!”

BACKSTAGE PROMO — RUBY HOWL (Interviewed by Candace Hart)

The camera opens in the backstage interview area where Candace Hart stands with a microphone in hand. Beside her, Ruby Howl paces with restless, coiled energy, unable to stand still.

Candace Hart:
“I’m here with Ruby Howl, who faces Mina Harker later tonight. Ruby… this match is clearly personal. What’s going through your mind heading into this confrontation?”

Ruby stops pacing, planting her boots, looking directly into the camera with steady fire.

Ruby Howl:
“What’s on my mind? Everything Mina abandoned. She left behind people who believed in her. She left behind the light she fought so hard to hold onto. Now she wants to hide behind titles, shadows, and Count Vlad’s grin? That’s fine.”

Ruby leans in closer, voice tightening with conviction.

Ruby Howl:
“But underneath that darkness… she’s still Mina. And Mina made a choice. She turned her back on everyone who cared. She walked away from us.”

She folds her arms, jaw set.

Ruby Howl:
“So tonight isn’t about fear. It’s about accountability. Mina wants to act like she’s untouchable? Good. Because I’m going to remind her exactly where she came from— and what she lost.”

Ruby nods once and walks off, leaving Candace Hart watching her exit with a mix of sympathy and unease.

BACKSTAGE PROMO — MINA HARKER (LADY OF THE CRIMSON PACT) with COUNT VLAD

The camera cuts to a backstage area swallowed in crimson lighting. Tall candles flicker unnaturally, their flames bending in directions that defy air currents. Larry Morton stands between Mina Harker and Count Vlad, visibly uneasy but maintaining his composure for the broadcast.

Larry Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, Larry Morton here, and I am joined by Mina Harker—now known as the Lady of the Crimson Pact—and Count Vlad. Mina, moments ago Ruby Howl accused you of betrayal. How do you respond?”

Mina’s eyes slide toward Larry with a slow, predatory grace. Her voice is calm, icy, reverent—every syllable precise.

Mina Harker:
“Ruby speaks of betrayal because she fears truth. I did not abandon anything. I merely embraced what was always inside me… waiting to awaken.”

She steps slightly toward Larry, her presence suffocating and ethereal.

Mina Harker:
“The Crimson Pact did not corrupt me, Larry— it completed me. I shed the frailty they wrapped around me. I shed the guilt, the restraint, the fear. I did not turn my back on Ruby. I transcended her.”

Behind her, Count Vlad folds his hands behind his back, a slow, serpentine smile curling at the edges of his mouth as he watches Mina with unmistakable pride.

Count Vlad:
“You see, Larry… Ruby Howl clings to nostalgia. To sentiment. To the past. But Mina? She has embraced evolution. She has embraced destiny.”

Mina lifts her chin, eyes burning like cold fire.

Mina Harker:
“Ruby wants to punish me for seeing what she cannot. For hearing the call she will never hear. Tonight, I don’t fight to prove anything. I fight to demonstrate the power of truth.”

Larry swallows nervously but holds the mic steady.

Larry Morton:
“Mina… Ruby has vowed to make you feel the consequences of your choices. Does that concern you at all?”

Mina slowly smiles—an expression of predatory serenity.

Mina Harker:
“Consequences are for mortals, Larry. I have burned mine away. And tonight… I will show Ruby the beauty of surrendering to the inevitable. She cannot stop fate. She cannot stop the Pact.”

She lowers her voice to a whisper that somehow fills the entire space.

Mina Harker:
“She will fall. And she will understand.”

Count Vlad leans in, voice velvet-dark.

Count Vlad:
“When the Pact chooses someone, Larry… it does not lose. And it does not forgive.”

The candles extinguish in a sudden, unnatural flicker—plunging the scene into darkness as the segment ends.

Ruby Howl’s Entrance

The arena lights shift into a deep forest green as the opening riff of Ruby Howl’s theme—“Lone Ember Rising” by Emberwolf Riot—kicks through the speakers. A lone spotlight hits the stage as Ruby steps out, hood pulled low, head bowed.

When she lifts her head, the crowd erupts.

Ruby throws her hood back, pounding her fist into her chest before raising her arms, defiant and burning with resolve.

She walks down the ramp with purpose—no theatrics, no hesitation, just focused determination. Fans reach over the barricade to tap her shoulder, and she touches a few hands without breaking stride.

Ruby circles the ring, staring up at it like she’s staring at the gates of something personal—something she needs to confront alone. She slides under the bottom rope, pops up to her feet, and throws both arms wide to a loud cheer.

She takes her corner, never once taking her eyes off the stage.

The lights fall to black.

A chilling hush falls across the arena as a single deep church bell tolls.
Once.
Twice.
A third time.

Then—crimson smoke spills across the stage.

A low, haunting chant begins: “Blood of the Pact” by The Coven Choir, its choral echoes twisting into the rafters like a ritual in progress.

Two silhouettes appear behind the crimson mist.

The first figure walks out slowly, almost gliding: Mina Harker, in her Lady of the Crimson Pact attire—blood-dark robes trimmed in obsidian, her eyes glowing with cold reverence. She lifts her chin, drinking in the atmosphere like the arena itself is kneeling.

Behind her, emerging with predatory calm and commanding presence…

Count Vlad.

He places one hand gently on Mina’s shoulder, a gesture equal parts guidance and possession. The crowd jeers loudly, but Vlad only smiles—unbothered, amused.

Mina extends her arms, palms upward, as though invoking something unseen.

The smoke thickens around her.
The lighting shifts to black-and-blood red.

Vlad steps forward, pointing toward the ring with a slow, deliberate gesture—granting Mina permission, like a master unleashing his favored herald.

Together they walk down the ramp—Vlad behind her like a shadow with its own will. Mina never looks left or right, her stare locked onto Ruby with glacial intensity.

At ringside, Mina ascends the steel steps with ritualistic grace while Vlad stays on the floor, hands clasped behind his back, content to observe.

Mina enters the ring and makes no gesture to the crowd—she simply stands at full height, serene and terrifying, eyes fixed on Ruby like a predator tasting the moment before the kill.

The music fades.
The smoke thins.
The tension thickens.

The referee signals for both competitors to step forward.

Ruby and Mina circle each other slowly, the arena electric with tension. Mina moves like a shadow—calm, patient, predatory—while Ruby keeps low and ready, determined to meet darkness head-on.

Mina strikes first, snapping Ruby into the Nightmare Clutch, wrenching back with vicious leverage. Ruby claws free, but Mina stays on her like cold breath on glass, whipping her down with the Crimson Spiral, rattling Ruby early.

Ruby fires back, stunning Mina with a sharp step-up enzuigiri, dropping her to one knee. The crowd rallies behind Ruby as she unleashes a flurry—knife-edge chops, a swinging DDT, and finally wrenching Mina back in an Inverted Cloverleaf that forces the Lady of the Pact to grit her teeth and drag herself toward the ropes.

As Ruby tightens the hold, Count Vlad slams his hands on the apron, coldly commanding Mina to focus. His voice glides like a spell:
“You are the Pact… rise.”

Mina’s eyes glaze with eerie calm—she powers through, breaking free.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Mike… that wasn’t adrenaline. That was something else.”

Mina snaps back into control, drilling Ruby with the Crimson Spiral again, then a hurricanrana that sends herself tumbling outside. She slithers back in at the last moment, expression never changing, as Ruby meets her with a snap suplex and another Inverted Cloverleaf attempt.

But the Dominion’s presence is suffocating. Vlad leans in, whispering venom, antagonizing Ruby, distracting her for just a second—enough for Mina to recover and crack Ruby with the Fangs of the Night spin kick.

Ruby won’t quit. She keeps firing—step-up enzuigiris, suplexes, and the Red Moon Rising senton—but every time she rises, Mina’s strikes land sharper, colder, more deliberate. The Ghoul’s Gaze nearly knocks Ruby senseless.

One last gasp—Ruby rolls Mina into another Inverted Cloverleaf. The crowd surges.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Ruby’s trying to pull every scrap of heart she has left—she might turn this tide!”

Just then, Heritage Women’s Champion Talia Nocturne comes out and with a ref distraction provided by Count Vlad, she climbs up on the apron, grabs Ruby by the hair and slams Ruby’s head into the turnbuckle bracket.

Mina’s expression never shifts.

After slipping free like a serpent, she wraps her legs around Ruby’s ribs.
Arms coil around Ruby’s head.
Leans back—

The Nocturnal Embrace.

A bodyscissors sleeper so tight it looks inhuman.

Ruby claws at the mat.
Gasps for air.
Reaches for the ropes.
Her hand falters…
and falls.

The referee calls it.

Mina Harker submits Ruby Howl with the Nocturnal Embrace.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That wasn’t just a win. That was a message.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Mina Harker has fully embraced the Pact… and tonight Ruby Howl paid the price.”

Mina releases the hold slowly, deliberately, letting Ruby slump in a heap. Vlad steps into the ring, placing a hand on Mina’s shoulder like a proud monarch admiring his heir.

The Lady of the Crimson Pact stands tall—serene, chilling, victorious.

BACKSTAGE PROMO — KORBI KONG (with Count Vlad)

The camera fades in on Larry Morton, standing inside a dim backstage chamber lit only by tall, flickering red candles. At his left stands Korbi Kong, draped in her ceremonial Empress attire—dark armor plating, serrated gauntlets, eyes painted with crimson streaks. At his right stands Count Vlad, hands folded neatly behind his back, calm and unreadable.

Larry clears his throat, steadying himself.

Larry Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, Larry Morton here, and joining me is Korbi Kong—accompanied by Count Vlad. Korbi, tonight you face Scarlett Howl. What’s your mindset heading into this match?”

Korbi tilts her head slowly toward Larry, her expression a controlled snarl beneath regal composure.

Korbi Kong:
“My mindset, Larry… is conquest. Scarlett Howl walks into tonight believing her courage will carry her. That her heart will shield her. That her family’s pride will lift her.”

She bares her teeth in a low, dangerous smirk.

Korbi Kong:
“But pride is nothing in the presence of an Empress. And courage crumbles when crushed beneath inevitability.”

Vlad steps forward just slightly—enough for his shadow to fall beside hers. His grin is razor-thin, eyes gleaming with calculated delight.

Count Vlad:
“You see, Larry… Scarlett Howl is spirited, yes. Brave, perhaps. But bravery means very little when standing opposite one chosen by the Crimson Throne.”

Korbi taps her gauntlet against her palm, the metal clacking like a war drum.

Korbi Kong:
“Scarlett Howl wants a fight? I will give her one. And when she falls, I will remind her why the Dominion reigns… why the Pact consumes… and why an Empress bows to no Howl.”

She leans into the camera, eyes burning with cruel promise.

Korbi Kong:
“Tonight, I break her spirit. Tonight, I reign.”

Vlad offers a soft, satisfied nod.

Count Vlad:
“And the Dominion continues its march.”

The candles flicker violently as the scene fades.

BACKSTAGE PROMO — SCARLETT HOWL

Backstage, Candace Hart stands in front of the HCW Live Wire backdrop. At her side is Scarlett Howl, already in ring gear, pacing like a caged wolf barely holding back a storm.

Candace Hart:
“Scarlett, in just a few moments you step into the ring against Korbi Kong. We know what the Dominion is capable of… what’s your focus going into this match?”

Scarlett stops pacing, turns toward Candace, and cracks her knuckles one at a time.

Scarlett Howl:
“My focus? Survival. And victory. Korbi Kong wants to call herself an Empress? Good. Because tonight I remind her that in HCW—crowns don’t protect anyone.”

She steps closer, intensity rising in her voice.

Scarlett Howl:
“She’s bigger, stronger, and she’s got Count Vlad whispering poison in her ear. But I’ve dealt with monsters before. I’ve survived the Enclave. I’ve fought beside Mina before she fell into whatever darkness they’ve wrapped her in.”

Scarlett draws a sharp breath, her tone firming.

Scarlett Howl:
“So Korbi can bring her Dominion, her arrogance, her false royalty. I’m bringing my heart. My fight. And every ounce of strength I have left.”

She turns directly to the camera.

Scarlett Howl:
“And Empress or not—Korbi Kong bleeds like anyone else.”

Candace Hart:
“One last thing…Talia Nocturne interfered in the last match and cost your sister the win.  Thoughts on that?.”

Scarlett Howl:
“Let the Dominion bring anyone they want.  Selena wants to jump in, I’ll take her out.  Talia or Grizelda…get in my business and you’ll see why I’m called a HUNTER.”

Scarlett nods, jaw tight, and exits frame.

Candace watches her go, eyebrows raised.

Candace Hart:
“Scarlett Howl is fired up and ready.”

The segment fades.

The house lights drop instantly into oppressive darkness.

A thunderous war drum begins to pound.

WHUMP.
WHUMP.
WHUMP.

Blood-red spotlights cut across the stage in jagged lines as “Empire Ascendant” by The Crimson Dirge erupts into a brutal, industrial rhythm. The curtain parts—

And Korbi Kong marches out.

Her armor glints in red shards of light, heavy chains draped from her shoulders, every step echoing like a titan approaching a battlefield. She raises one gauntleted fist, letting out a guttural roar as pyro blasts upward in crimson sparks.

Behind her, emerging with eerie calm and perfect posture—

Count Vlad.

He walks with hands clasped behind his back, smiling with that quiet, infuriating confidence of a man who already knows the outcome. He gestures toward Korbi with a slight nod, guiding her forward like a general unleashing his war machine.

Korbi storms down the ramp while Vlad follows at a leisurely, almost regal pace. At ringside, Korbi steps onto the apron with one massive stride, hauling herself over the top rope with ease.

She slams a fist against her chestplate, glaring toward the entrance, daring Scarlett Howl to appear.

Vlad takes his place at ringside, hands folded once more, eyes glowing with anticipation.

The arena waits.

The lights shift from red to icy blue.

Electric guitar pierces the arena with the opening of “Feral Heartbreak” by Lunar Ember.

A spotlight hits the stage—

And Scarlett Howl bursts out, energy surging off her like wildfire. She storms to the center of the ramp, pointing directly at Korbi Kong with a glare that could crack stone.

The crowd erupts.

Scarlett throws her head back with a howl—raw, defiant, unbroken.

She marches down the ramp at full speed, eyes never leaving Korbi, every step fueled by purpose and fury. Reaching the ring, she hops onto the apron and slingshots herself in with a burst of agility, landing in a fighter’s stance.

Scarlett nods once.

Korbi snarls in return.

Count Vlad grins slowly.

The referee steps between them—

And the match is moments from beginning.

Scarlett Howl charges into the match with ferocity, immediately planting Korbi with an Electric Chair Facebuster and firing the crowd up. Korbi shakes it off, but Vlad is already leaning into the apron, eyes locked on his protégé with an unsettling grin.

Scarlett keeps the momentum rolling—Pendulum Facebusters, Wolf Traps, and raw, explosive strikes that keep the Empress staggered. Korbi answers back with crushing power: stiff forearm uppercuts, a diving forearm to the spine, and a grinding arm triangle that nearly squeezes the breath out of Scarlett.

Every time Scarlett rises, Vlad offers something—
a sharp gesture,
a cold word,
a stare that cuts like a knife.

His manipulations keep Korbi composed and locked in.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Scarlett’s fighting her heart out, but Vlad is playing chess on the outside.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Scarlett better watch both of them. Korbi’s dangerous enough without a mastermind whispering in her ear.”

Scarlett battles through a series of punishing shots, landing a full nelson slam and a beautiful bridging Northern Lights suplex. But every burst of offense is met with Korbi’s raw power, keeping the match dead even.

Then, late in the bout, the rhythm of the arena shifts.

The lights dim slightly.

A chilling, familiar melody begins.

Selena Blackfang steps onto the stage.

Draped in her Widow’s Fang attire, she stares down the ramp with cold, commanding menace—eyes fixed entirely on Scarlett Howl.

Scarlett’s attention snaps toward her sister’s betrayer.

The trap is set.

Count Vlad immediately hops onto the apron, drawing “Honest” Abe into a heated argument, his voice smooth and venomous as he keeps the referee’s eyes locked on him.

From behind—

GRIZELDA.

She slides into the ring like a streak of midnight shadow.
Scarlett turns—

Enchanted Ending!
A vicious sit-down piledriver driven straight into the mat.

Scarlett crumples.

Grizelda slips out just as Vlad gracefully steps down, his face the picture of innocence.

Korbi Kong drags Scarlett’s limp body up, hoists her, and drives her down with a brutal stiff forearm uppercut, nearly decapitating her.

Korbi drops into a lazy cover, barely hooking the leg.

1!
2!
3!

Korbi Kong wins.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Come on! That was a three-on-one ambush!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And Count Vlad engineered every second of it. Scarlett Howl never stood a chance once the Dominion descended.”

Korbi stands tall as Vlad enters the ring, placing one calm hand on her shoulder. Selena watches from the ramp, smirking. Grizelda grins from the shadows.

The Dominion stands united—cold, merciless, triumphant—while Scarlett lies motionless beneath their gaze.

Count Vlad regroups with 3 of the Dominion’s Vixens and they all head to the back.  The ref checks on Scarlett who is livid and storms to the back under her own power.

The arena lights blaze to brilliant white as the opening scream of “Skyfire Oath” by Iron Tempest erupts from the speakers. A roaring cheer ripples through the crowd.

A metallic-blue spotlight hits the stage just as Alex “Skyhawk” Justice bursts out from the curtain—arms spread wide like wings, energy surging off him like a living lightning bolt. He pumps his fist to the crowd, shouting to the fans lining the ramp.

Right behind him emerges Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari, hood down, eyes sharp, carrying that cool confidence of a man who thrives in chaos. He steps forward as digital “raven feather” pyro rains from the ceiling in glittering streaks.

They meet center stage with perfect timing—Skyhawk striking his wing-spread pose while Kellyn draws back an invisible bowstring, loosing an imaginary arrow right toward the camera.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Steel Justice is here, and Columbia is on its feet!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“These two don’t just fight as a team—they move like they share the same heartbeat.”

Steel Justice charge down the ramp together, slapping hands with fans, feeding on the electric energy. At ringside, Skyhawk vaults onto the apron in one leap while Kellyn circles the ring like a hunter surveying his territory.

They climb opposite turnbuckles, posing to a huge ovation before settling into their corner, eyes locked on the stage, ready for war.

The lights fall to black.

A haunting chime sings through the darkness.

Then—
the stage erupts into a shifting kaleidoscope of silver, violet, and shattered-glass patterns as “Reflections of the Fallen” by Saint’s Lament begins its slow, ominous build.

Stepping out first is Elyra Moane, robed in shimmering silver mesh, her eyes lined in iridescent paint that makes them gleam like fractured moonlight. She lifts her arms, and the lights flicker as though bending around her.

Behind her emerge The Mirror Saints—Sorin Savax and Vael Thorne.

Sorin steps forward, chin high, motion sharp and angular as if carved from obsidian. Vael drifts beside him like a ghost, head tilted, wearing that unreadable expression somewhere between serene and unnerving.

The crowd reacts with a mixed wave—some cheers, some boos, some uncertain murmurs—as the Saints move in perfect unison, their movements unnaturally synchronized.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“You never know which way these guys are going to break. That’s what makes them dangerous.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And Elyra Moane is always the wild card.”

At the base of the ramp, Elyra leans in and whispers something to both men. Sorin smiles faintly. Vael doesn’t move—but his eyes flash with something sharp and unsettling.

The three ascend the steps as one.

Inside the ring, the Saints remove their long, shard-patterned coats and stand across from Steel Justice, still perfectly synchronized, still eerily calm.

The contrast is stark:

Steel Justice: fiery, animated, ready to throw hands.
Mirror Saints: cold precision, poised like living reflections waiting to break.

The referee calls both teams to readiness.

The bell is moments away.

Steel Justice start the match fast, with Kellyn Chrisari charging Sorin Savax—only for Sorin to instantly clamp on the Viscera Clutch, dragging him to the mat with startling efficiency. Kellyn escapes and tags Skyhawk, who blasts in with a beautiful Wings of Justice hurricanrana, sending the crowd roaring.

The Mirror Saints answer in their eerie, synchronized rhythm. Vael Thorne enters the ring like a shadow, and together the Saints overwhelm Skyhawk with a Saito suplex followed by a barrage of palm strikes. Skyhawk fires back with the Heavenly Hammer DDT, but Elyra Moane darts close and cracks Kellyn with her silver microphone, giving the Saints control again.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“These two move like they’ve rehearsed the future!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And Elyra Moane is turning this into a numbers game!”

A wild melee erupts when all four men spill into the ring—Vael’s brainbuster, Sorin’s Olympic Slam, Skyhawk’s moonsault, Kellyn’s Arrow Strike—each landing in rapid succession before all four collapse from the impact. The crowd rises to its feet.

Steel Justice rally with a double-team surge—Raven’s Claw and a Winged Uppercut—nearly putting the Saints away, but Vael slips out and Sorin slides in like a knife through fog. One shift. One mistake.

Skyhawk charges.

Sorin flows behind him with unnatural calm.

Wraps the arms.

Viscera Clutch.

Skyhawk thrashes, reaching for Kellyn—
but Vael cuts Kellyn off with a sudden tackle, leaving Skyhawk trapped in the center of the ring.

Fast Count Frank drops quickly for the fall.

1!
2!
3!

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“A hard-fought battle by Steel Justice, but the Saints were just too precise… and Elyra Moane made sure they stayed a step ahead.”

The Mirror Saints rise in eerie synchronization, Elyra guiding them away like a conductor leading her creation, leaving Steel Justice frustrated and regrouping in the ring.

BACKSTAGE PROMO — THE MORNINGSTAR (HELL’S FANG) with COUNT VLAD

The camera opens in a dimly lit backstage corridor drenched in cold, smoky blue. The Hardcore Championship hangs over The Morningstar’s shoulder, the gold reflecting a faint, eerie glow. Count Vlad stands beside him, hands folded behind his back, poised like a man overseeing the final moment of a chess match.

Morningstar lifts his head slowly, those pale, predatory eyes glinting beneath the hood of his ring jacket.

The Morningstar:
“Tonight… Julius Squeezer steps into a world he does not understand. A Hardcore Championship match is not a contest. It is a reckoning. A test of what breaks first—bone, will, or spirit.”

He taps the title plate with two fingers, a hollow clang echoing down the hallway.

The Morningstar:
“And Julius…? He is strong. He is stubborn. But he has never walked through fire. Not my fire.”

Vlad smiles—not wide, but sharp, deliberate. His voice slides in with quiet amusement.

Count Vlad:
“Julius Squeezer is talented. Fearless, even. But the Hardcore division belongs to the Dominion… because the Dominion understands pain. It understands sacrifice. And more importantly—”

He tilts his head, eyes narrowing.

“—it understands inevitability.”

Morningstar’s expression doesn’t change, but a faint grind of his jaw reveals a simmering agitation beneath.

The Morningstar:
“And then… there is Mr. X.”

A small ripple of energy flickers in Vlad’s grin.

The Morningstar:
“He has been speaking loudly. Boldly. Promising he is on his way to take this title. Promising he will break the Morningstar.”

He slowly shakes his head.

The Morningstar:
“Mr. X speaks like a man who has never bled for something. Never crawled back to his feet with his own ribs screaming. Never tasted the iron of his own doubts.”

Vlad steps slightly in front of Morningstar now—subtle, but possessive.

Count Vlad:
“Mr. X is a fascinating case. Ambitious. Driven. Reckless enough to believe he can defy us.”

He lets the silence linger just a moment too long.

“And that… makes him a very entertaining target.”

Morningstar leans toward the camera, voice dropping to a chilling whisper.

The Morningstar:
“Julius tonight.
Mr. X soon.
And anyone else who thinks the Hardcore throne can be stolen…”

He taps the title again—this time harder.

The Morningstar:
“Will learn why the Morningstar burns brightest… when he is extinguishing hope.”

Vlad places a hand on Morningstar’s shoulder, smiling with quiet approval.

Count Vlad:
“Tonight, the Dominion continues its dominance. And Mr. X… whenever you’re ready—step into the dark.”

The camera fades out on both men staring directly into the lens, unified, dangerous, and certain.

The arena lights burst into a mix of neon purple and electric yellow as “Squeeze the Trigger” by Pain Refrain blasts through the speakers. The crowd pops instantly as Julius Squeezer charges through the curtain — a ball of reckless energy barreling down the ramp.

He’s dressed for war: taped fists, heavy kneepads, and a chain draped around his neck like a dare to the Hardcore division.

Julius slaps the chain against the ramp with a metal crack, whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Julius Squeezer looks READY, Johnny! You can feel it—this man has been itching for a shot like this!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“I don’t know if he’s ready, Mike. But I do know he’s crazy enough to try anything. And in a Hardcore match? That’s dangerous.”

Julius climbs onto the apron and springs over the ropes with surprising agility for his size, pacing like a caged animal as the crowd chants his name.

Then the lights drop.

Instantly.

Like a candle being snuffed out.

A piercing shriek of metallic distortion tears through the darkness.

Then a single, pale spotlight flickers to life over the stage.

“Ashes of Sovereignty” by Blood Letter Choir begins—a slow, ritualistic dirge that grows heavier with every beat.

Fog spills across the entrance ramp in thick sheets as The Morningstar emerges, hooded, head bowed, Hardcore Championship hanging from his hand as if it weighs nothing. His presence is cold, ominous, almost corpse-like.

Behind him steps Count Vlad.

Hands clasped behind his back.
Expression calm.
Smile thin, knowing, unreadable.
The puppetmaster walking behind his instrument.

The moment they appear, the boos rain down.

Morningstar lifts his head, revealing the glint of his chilling pale eyes beneath the hood.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh boy… Mike, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — when this man walks out, the temperature drops ten degrees.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And with Count Vlad at his back tonight? That’s a bad omen for Julius Squeezer.”

Morningstar walks with slow, deliberate steps, like a predator savoring every moment before the hunt. Vlad follows with that unnerving composure, observing the crowd like he’s scanning the room for weaknesses.

At ringside, Vlad places a hand briefly on Morningstar’s shoulder — a gesture equal parts ownership and blessing — before taking a seat in a ringside chair set aside for him.

Morningstar climbs the steps one-by-one, enters the ring without breaking stride, and slowly raises the Hardcore Championship above his head. The lights flash blood-red as the fog surges upward.

Julius doesn’t wait — he steps right up to Morningstar, fists raised, ready to throw down.

Morningstar lowers the belt and stares into Julius’s eyes as if measuring his soul.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is going to be violent. This is going to be brutal. This is the Hardcore Title — and The Morningstar does not bleed easily.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And Julius Squeezer doesn’t know how to quit. Something’s gotta give.”

The referee holds the belt high.

Vlad watches from ringside with chilling stillness.

The arena roars.

The stage is set.

The Hardcore Championship… is on the line.

The bell rings, and Julius Squeezer explodes forward like a fired cannonball, hammering Morningstar with heavy shoulder blocks that drive the champion into the corner. The crowd roars as Julius stays on him, ramming into him again and again until the ring shakes.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Julius Squeezer is throwing everything he has at Hell’s Fang right out of the gate!”

At ringside, Count Vlad keeps his hands clasped behind his back, watching calmly.

Count Vlad (to the commentary table, coolly):
“Let him swing. The Morningstar doesn’t fall—he adapts.”

Almost on cue, Morningstar snaps back to life with frightening precision, snatching Julius into the Necromancer’s Delight choke and wrenching it deep. Squeezer thrashes but refuses to drop. When Morningstar transitions to a Death Valley Driver, Julius lands hard but claws upright, staggering yet determined.

But Morningstar keeps pressing —
a Shining Wizard,
a second Death Valley Driver,
and a brutal series of elbow strikes that leave Squeezer dazed.

Each time, Julius keeps getting back up.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“This man just WILL. NOT. STAY. DOWN.”

Morningstar pauses, staring at Julius with something that looks almost like curiosity.

Count Vlad (leaning forward, speaking low but picked up by the boom mic):
“Rise again if you wish. It only makes the lesson sharper.”

Julius fires back with desperation — a crushing Steinerline, a chain-wrapped fist that creates a sickening crack on impact, and a fire extinguisher blast straight into the champion’s face that sends the crowd into a frenzy.

Morningstar hits the mat for the first time in the match.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“He DROPPED him! Julius Squeezer has the Hardcore Champion rocked!”

Julius hoists Morningstar for a powerbomb, but Hell’s Fang slips out and drives an elbow straight into Julius’ spine. He follows with a vicious inside-out lariat that flips Julius nearly end over end.

Morningstar covers — Squeezer kicks out.

Morningstar ascends the turnbuckles for a corkscrew elbow—
Julius catches him mid-air, turning it into a desperation slam.

Another cover—another kickout.

Julius, running on pure instinct, grabs the ring bell and blasts Morningstar square in the skull. The champion drops like a stone.

He hooks the leg—

1…
2…
NO!

Morningstar surges out, eyes wide, fury ignited.

Vlad rises from his chair just slightly, smiling.

Count Vlad:
“There. Now you see the fire.”

Hell’s Fang responds with a savage shift in tempo—
a chain-wrapped punch that cuts Julius above the eyebrow,
a chair shot low to the ribs,
and then the devastating Avalanche Burning Hammer, dropping Julius from the second rope like a rag doll.

Somehow—
in a miracle of stubbornness—

Julius kicks out again.

The crowd erupts.
Even Vlad’s smile twitches wider in grudging respect.

Morningstar drags Julius up by the chin, snarling something unheard, and locks in the Muta Lock. Julius refuses to tap and drags himself toward the ropes—but Morningstar rolls him back to center and tightens the hold until Squeezer’s hand trembles above the mat.

He refuses to quit.

Morningstar releases the hold, stands over him, and slams a discus elbow straight into Julius’ temple.

Julius collapses.

Morningstar covers.

1!
2!
3!

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That was one of the toughest challenges Morningstar has ever faced—maybe the toughest!”

Morningstar rises, panting, eyes burning pale and furious. Vlad steps into the ring, placing one hand on his champion’s shoulder in approval.

Count Vlad:
“Well done. Brutality… perfected.”

Morningstar raises the Hardcore Title skyward, blood streaked down his mouth.

And then—

The crowd erupts.

MR. X hits the ring like a missile.

He drills Morningstar from behind, sending the champion crashing into the ropes. Mr. X unloads fists in a frenzy, shouting over him.

“You wanted me!? HERE I AM!”

Vlad’s eyes flare in anger—not fear, not shock, but fury that someone dared interrupt his moment.

Security pours in.

Mr. X fights through two guards before backing up the ramp, pointing at the Hardcore Title.

Morningstar pulls himself upright, trembling with rage, glaring with murder in his stare.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Mr. X just punched his ticket to a Hardcore Title showdown!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And Vlad hates surprises—that could be a problem next week!”

The show closes with Morningstar gripping the ropes, Hardcore Title in hand, staring daggers at Mr. X while Vlad’s cold fury simmers behind him.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Ladies and gentlemen… what a night here on HCW Live Wire! The Morningstar retains the Hardcore Championship in an absolute war, and Mr. X has just made it VERY clear—he’s coming for that title!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And you saw Count Vlad’s face, Mike! He didn’t like that one bit. Mr. X may have lit a fuse he can’t put out!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“But we are FAR from done this weekend! HCW Voltage comes your way tomorrow night, and after what we just witnessed? You can bet the whole Dominion—and the whole roster—will have something to say!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Live Wire brought the fire tonight, and Voltage is gonna bring the voltage surge tomorrow. Do NOT miss it!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“For Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris, I’m Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson saying… thank you for joining us, thank you for being part of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter family, and we will see you TOMORROW NIGHT on Voltage!”

The camera pulls back as The Morningstar, still seething in the ring with Count Vlad at his side, glares up the ramp toward Mr. X.

Fade to black.

HCW LIVE WIRE — OUT.
