[Opening of the show – Wide shot of the arena, fans holding signs, pyro erupting in red, white, and gold]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter! Tonight, Live Wire is coming to you live with a stacked lineup just eight days away from Reign of Champions—and the road to the pay-per-view is hotter than ever!"
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"That’s right, Mike! Big matches, big egos, and even bigger stakes tonight! We’ve got singles competition, tag team action, and more than a few scores to settle before the big dance."
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"In our main event, ‘The Butcher of the Bayou’ Wilber Townsend—Terror Fang himself—steps into the ring with the unpredictable Ghee Buttersnaps. Plus, the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship Tournament continues with a blockbuster clash as Scarlett Howl teams with Mina Harker to face the dangerous duo of Luciana Albano and Kimberly Kiccsass."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Not to mention—Heritage Women’s Champion Talia Nocturne will join forces with Ladies World Champion Selena Blackfang in tag action against the Cummings Twins as the tournament continues. Steel Justice collides with Sal and Tony Albano, and we’ve got the ever-dangerous TNT going one-on-one with Son of Drew."
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Leslie Grimes also steps into the squared circle with Grizelda—the Witch of Sweets herself—in what’s sure to be a strange and unpredictable battle. And don’t forget—tensions are running high backstage! We’re going to hear from both Ashleys tonight, as a war of words over that very name escalates toward a showdown tomorrow night."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Plus, a huge confrontation brewing between the Yeti and Jax Brenner after last week’s comments, and Count Vlad himself will oversee contract signings for nearly every championship bout set for Reign of Champions. The only one missing? The World Title—because Jack Lumber, Zack Brown, and the Wicked Prophet aren’t here tonight."
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Live Wire is locked and loaded, folks—so let’s not waste another second. The road to Reign of Champions rolls on, and it starts right now!"
[Cue music and camera pans to ringside for the first match]
[Back from the opening pyro and intro package. Camera cuts to ringside where Tony Calibur stands in the ring with a microphone.]
Tony Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, your opening contest is a tag team match, scheduled for one fall!"
[Cue Steel Justice’s theme – “Skyhawks & Ravens” by Flight Squadron – hits the speakers. The crowd roars as Alex “Skyhawk” Justice and Kellyn “the Raven Archer” Chrisari emerge, high-fiving fans down the ramp.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"What a way to kick things off here on Live Wire! Steel Justice has been firing on all cylinders lately, and if they can knock off the Albano cousins tonight, it could put them right back into the thick of the Heritage Tag Title conversation."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"That’s a big if, Mike. Sal and Tony Albano may not be the biggest names in the family, but they fight with that trademark Albano grit—and you better believe Uncle Lou has drilled into them the fine art of cutting corners."
Tony Calibur:
"Introducing first, from the Steel City, at a combined weight of 454 pounds… Alex ‘Skyhawk’ Justice and Kellyn ‘the Raven Archer’ Chrisari… STEEELLL JUSTICE!"
[Steel Justice slides into the ring, posing on the ropes as the fans cheer.]
[Cue “Blood in the Bay” by East Harbor Kings – Sal & Tony Albano appear at the top of the ramp with smug grins, walking side by side with Pierre Boulay in tow. They jaw with fans before stepping to the ring.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Well, the Albano clan has been busy lately—Luciana in the Heritage Women’s Title hunt, the New Sicilians going after the World Tag Team Titles—and now these two trying to notch one for their branch of the family tree."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Busy is one thing, dangerous is another. Don’t sleep on these two, Mike—they’re young, hungry, and mean enough to make a veteran team like Steel Justice regret stepping in the ring with them. But with Boulay roaming on the outside, anything can happen."
Tony Calibur:
"And their opponents… from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, at a combined weight of 471 pounds… Salvatore Albano and Tony Albano… THE ALBANO Mafia!"
[The Albano cousins enter the ring, exchanging a quick handshake before heading to their corner. The referee checks all four men as the bell is about to ring.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Steel Justice versus the Albano cousins—our opening bout on Live Wire starts… right now!"
Match #1: Steel Justice vs Sal & Tony Albano
Steel Justice opened with high energy, Alex “Skyhawk” Justice and Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari working crisp tags to keep the Albano cousins off balance early. But the Albano grit—and Pierre Boulay’s ringside presence—quickly became a factor. Mike "the Voice" Johnson noted, “The Albanos don’t need to outwrestle you when they can just outlast you,” as Sal Albano sent Kellyn crashing to the floor with a brutal throw through the ropes.
Momentum shifted back and forth as Alex landed a beautiful Celestial Spiral Leg Drop and Kellyn followed with a pinpoint Eagle’s Talon Slam. But every time Steel Justice started to build steam, the cousins found a way to cut them off—often with Boulay’s subtle interference.
The crowd rallied when Alex connected with the Skyhawk Soar Moonsault in a double-team sequence with Kellyn, but the finish came in pure Albano fashion. With the referee distracted, Pierre Boulay slipped a foreign object to Sal, who drilled Kellyn before making the cover.
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris: “Like it or not, that’s vintage Albano—bend the rules until they break, and then take the win home.”
Mike "the Voice" Johnson: “Steel Justice had this one in hand until Boulay stuck his nose where it didn’t belong. And now the Albanos leave with their hands raised.”
Winner: Salvatore Albano (pinfall over Kellyn Chrisari via foreign object)
[As the winning team’s music fades, the lights sink to a blood-red wash. Count Vlad steps onto the stage with a clipboard, flanked by the Fangs of Despair—Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
“Here comes Count Vlad—and with him, the Fangs of Despair. Business just picked up.”
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
“When Vlad brings the Fangs, it’s never paperwork—it’s psychological warfare, Mike.”
[A table is set in the ring. From the opposite tunnel, the Samoan Bloodline—Raku and Tumu—stride out to a roar.]
Count Vlad:
“Two proud warriors. Two brothers of the islands. But let me ask you a question… Where was Jax?
No matter. At Reign of Champions, this is not about gold—it is about survival. The Fangs of Despair do not merely win… they feed. Sign… and prepare to be devoured.”
[Raku signs first, never breaking his stare. Tumu follows, planting the pen with a thud.]
[Dr. Red Fang snatches the pen, cackling.]
Dr. Red Fang:
“VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY!”
[He scrawls a jagged signature. Nightfang calmly signs beneath it, then taps the plate of the Heritage Tag Titles.]
Count Vlad:
“Excellent. The hunt begins in eight days… and it ends in blood.”
[Vlad raises the contract. The Samoan Bloodline hold the center of the ring as the crowd rallies behind them.]
[Back from commercial break. The camera is on Tony Calibur in the ring.]
Tony Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is an Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship Tournament semi-final match, scheduled for one fall!"
[Cue “Huntress’ Moon” by The Blood Run Wild – Scarlett Howl bursts through the curtain with Mina Harker at her side, both walking with a deliberate, focused stride. Scarlett barks toward the crowd while Mina scans the arena, composed and watchful. The fans cheer as they make their way to ringside.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"This is a dangerous pairing, Johnny. Scarlett Howl’s wild, unpredictable offense meshed with Mina Harker’s precision and discipline—it’s the kind of chemistry that can take a team all the way to the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Sure, Mike, but let’s be real—any team across from them is looking to take their heads off, especially when there’s a spot in the finals on the line."
Tony Calibur:
"Introducing first, at a combined weight of 294 pounds… the team of Scarlett Howl and Mina Harker!"
[They enter the ring, Scarlett pacing like a caged animal while Mina remains calm, stretching on the ropes.]
[Cue “Made Men” by Omerta Sons – Luciana Albano steps out with a sneer, accompanied by Grizelda—the Witch of Sweets. Luciana adjusts her jacket while Grizelda carries herself with eerie composure, her eyes scanning the crowd. Immediate boos fill the arena.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Luciana Albano—already locked in for a Heritage Women’s Title match at Reign of Champions—and Grizelda, the unsettling Witch of Sweets, fresh from her arrival in HCW. Together, they make for a very unpredictable and dangerous team."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"And don’t forget, Mike—Luciana’s got Pierre Boulay somewhere nearby. If the Albano family thinks they can tip the scales, they will."
Tony Calibur:
"And their opponents… accompanied by Pierre Boulay… at a combined weight of 281 pounds… Luciana Albano and Grizelda!"
[They make their way to the ring, but as they step between the ropes—suddenly the lights shift and “Crimson Hymn” by The Thorns of Orpheus hits. The crowd reacts as Talia Nocturne appears at the top of the stage, Heritage Women’s Title over her shoulder. She doesn’t move toward the ring—just stands with a faint smile, watching.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Well, that’s the Heritage Women’s Champion—Talia Nocturne—and she’s making her presence known."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Presence? She’s planting herself up there like a queen on her throne, Mike. No physical contact, no words—just letting Luciana know she’s watching her every move."
[Luciana glares toward Talia, muttering to Grizelda as Pierre tries to refocus them on the match. Scarlett and Mina exchange a quick nod in their corner as ‘Honest’ Abe calls for the bell.]
Match #2: Tournament Quarterfinals: Scarlett Howl & Mina Harker vs Luciana Albano & Grizelda
From the opening bell, Scarlett Howl charged in like a storm, flooring Luciana Albano with an Electric Chair Facebuster before following with a Basket Buster that had the crowd roaring. But Luciana fought back with gritty suplexes and hard headbutts, showing why she’s always dangerous when the spotlight is on her.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
“Scarlett is bringing the fight early, but Luciana’s got that Albano toughness—you’ve got to keep her down, because if you let her breathe, she’ll take control.”
The match swung violently in both directions—Scarlett hammering away, Luciana firing back—until the arena lights shifted and “Crimson Hymn” hit. The Heritage Women’s Champion Talia Nocturne emerged at the top of the stage, simply standing with her title over her shoulder, that faint smile never leaving her face. No words, no movement toward the ring—but enough to draw Luciana’s glare. Scarlett took full advantage, dropping Luciana again with another Basket Buster.
When Mina Harker tagged in, her technical precision took over—tying Luciana in the Black Widow Octopus Hold before the Albano camp scrambled for the ropes. Grizelda finally entered the fray, bringing her own brand of eerie offense, but Scarlett re-entered and matched her strike for strike.
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
“You can feel the tension, Mike—Talia’s not moving, but her shadow is all over this match.”
The closing moments saw Luciana and Grizelda attempt one last burst of double-team offense, only for Scarlett to cut them off and drill Grizelda with a decisive Basket Buster (Pedigree) for the three-count.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
“Scarlett and Mina are headed to the finals! And Talia’s distraction may have just cost Luciana her shot at the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship.”
Winner: Scarlett Howl & Mina Harker (pinfall over Grizelda via Basket Buster). They move on to the finals.
[Post-Match Segment – Heritage Women’s Title Contract Signing]
[Scarlett and Mina exit to cheers, celebrating their win. Luciana is still in the ring with Grizelda and Pierre Boulay, fuming. The arena lights dim to crimson and Count Vlad appears on the stage with the Heritage Women’s Championship contract in hand. Talia Nocturne steps up beside him, title on her shoulder, smirking down at the ring.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Well, after what we just saw, this is going to be… tense. Count Vlad is here, and it looks like we’re moving straight to business."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Business, Mike? This is blood sport—on paper and in the ring."
[Vlad leads Talia down to the ring. A table and chairs have already been set up. Vlad stands at the head of the table, speaking into a microphone.]
Count Vlad:
"Ah… the beautiful chaos of revenge. Tonight, a little… distraction kept you, Luciana, from advancing in the Iron Maidens Tag Team Tournament. But perhaps that was destiny clearing the path for what truly matters—this."
[He gestures to the Heritage Women’s Title belt on the table.]
"This is not simply about a championship. This is about humiliation… about domination… about bending the will of a proud challenger until she bows before the Queen of the Dark Dominion. Sign, Luciana… and seal your fate."
[Luciana snatches the pen, slams her signature down with a flourish, and glares across the table at Talia. Pierre Boulay mutters in her ear, keeping her calm.]
[Talia slowly takes the pen, her smile never fading, and signs the contract deliberately. She sets the pen down and leans forward.]
Talia Nocturne:
"At Reign of Champions, Luciana… I will give you my undivided attention. And when I’m finished, you’ll wish I had just stood on the stage and smiled."
Count Vlad:
"Excellent… it is done. Eight days from now, the darkness will consume another victim."
[Vlad raises the contract as Talia lifts her title high. Luciana mouths something venomous back at her as the camera cuts to commercial.]
[Back from commercial, camera pans across the crowd before cutting to Tony Calibur in the ring.]
Tony Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!"
[Cue “Shine Like the Season” by Glitter Parade – an upbeat, sparkling pop anthem. Twinkle bounces onto the stage in her silver-and-pink Tinsel Twins gear, tossing metallic streamers into the crowd. She waves enthusiastically, making her way down the ramp with a bright smile.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"There’s no mistaking that energy—it’s one half of the Tinsel Twins, Twinkle! Usually she’s in tag action with Sparkle, but tonight she’s flying solo against one of HCW’s more unpredictable competitors."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Mike, I’ll give her this—Twinkle is all smiles now, but Leslie Grimes isn’t going to care about the glitter, the streamers, or the happy-go-lucky attitude. She’s going to come out here looking to stomp a hole in her and walk it dry."
Tony Calibur:
"Introducing first, from The Land of Lights, weighing 118 pounds… Twinkle!"
[Twinkle hops into the ring, twirling in place before flashing a peace sign to the hard camera.]
[Cue “Nothing Personal” by The Ruthless – a grinding, sneering guitar riff. Leslie Grimes steps onto the stage, black lipstick curled into a smirk. She walks with deliberate swagger, glaring at fans as she makes her way to the ring.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Leslie Grimes—snarky, sharp, and never afraid to get under your skin. She calls herself a ‘realist’ in the ring, which usually means breaking spirits before breaking bodies."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"And that’s why I like her, Mike—she doesn’t waste time. If you’re expecting her to clap along to holiday jingles, you’re in for a long night."
Tony Calibur:
"And her opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing 127 pounds… Leslie Grimes!"
[Leslie slides into the ring, eyes locked on Twinkle as the referee, ‘Honest’ Abe, calls both women to the center for final instructions.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Cheerful charm versus cold calculation—Twinkle against Leslie is about to get underway!"
Match #3: Twinkle vs Leslie Grimes
Twinkle came out firing from the opening bell, stringing together quick Diving Forearm Smashes and a tight Bulldog Headlock that had Leslie Grimes backpedaling in the early going.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Twinkle is using her speed perfectly here—Leslie hasn’t even had a chance to set her feet."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Yeah, but speed only gets you so far, Mike. One well-placed shot from Leslie and this whole thing flips."
That shot came when Twinkle went for another flying forearm, only for Leslie to counter with a Running Clothesline and follow up with a sharp DDT that spiked Twinkle to the mat.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"That’s the power of Leslie Grimes—she can turn momentum on a dime."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"And she doesn’t just hit you, Mike—she makes sure you remember it tomorrow."
The two traded bursts of offense, Twinkle landing a Flying Body Splash and locking in a deep Surfboard, while Leslie tried to grind her down with sweeps and roll-ups. In the closing stretch, Twinkle caught Leslie with a Flying Dropkick, then cinched in an Armlock, pressing her shoulders to the mat for the three-count.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Twinkle picks up a big singles win here tonight! That’s a confidence boost heading into whatever’s next for the Tinsel Twins."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Yeah, but Leslie’s not going to forget this—getting pinned by a glitter girl? That’s going to sting."
Winner: Twinkle (pinfall over Leslie Grimes via Armlock)
[Backstage – Interview area]
[Camera opens on Ashley “Diamond” Summers and Ruth Heartless mid-conversation. Diamond’s expression is all irritation, while Ruth looks ready to pounce on any verbal sparring. Leepurty Belle steps into frame first, clearing the way for Ashley America—decked out in red, white, and blue, smirking as she adjusts her mock-serious salute.]
Ashley “Diamond” Summers:
"You’ve got some nerve, walking in here with my name like it’s free for the taking. I’ve been making ‘Ashley’ mean something in HCW for years—you slap a flag on it and suddenly you think you own the brand?"
Ashley America:
"Oh please, sweetheart. America doesn’t ‘take’—America liberates. I didn’t steal your name, I improved it. Made it worth cheering for."
Leepurty Belle:
"And unlike you, she’s actually a role model."
Ruth Heartless:
"A role model? She struts around like a parade float and thinks that’s wrestling. Here’s the truth—there’s only room for one Ashley in HCW worth talking about, and she’s standing right here."
Ashley America:
"Then maybe it’s time to settle it, huh? Show the world who the real Ashley is."
Ruth Heartless:
" And when she wins—" [gestures to Diamond] "—you drop the name, the act, and the cheap dollar-store patriot routine."
Ashley America:
"Or when I win, you better start calling me the diamond of HCW. Deal?"
They are then interrupted by HCW’s GM (and crony to Count Vlad) Max McGillicutty.
GM Max McGillicutty:
"Looks like someone wants to start making matches? Ruth, you want a match set up, you see me. But seeing how I’m in such a giving mood - Tomorrow night—you two, one-on-one.”
[Both Ashleys step nose-to-nose, tension high, before Leepurty and Ruth pull them apart. The camera fades out on their glaring faces as Max walks away.]
[Back at ringside, the camera cuts to Tony Calibur in the ring.]
Tony Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is an Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship Tournament quarterfinal match, scheduled for one fall!"
[Cue “Double Trouble” by Sister Circuit – The Cummings Twins, Betsy and Felicia, hit the stage together, moving in sync and firing up the crowd. They act like they’re going to slap hands with fans, but then laugh it off as they head toward the ring.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"The Cummings Twins have been rolling through this tournament, and they’re just two wins away from the finals at Reign of Champions. Their energy and timing as a team make them dangerous against anyone—even a pair of champions."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Yeah, but Mike, they’re up against not one, but two titleholders tonight. This could be a serious reality check."
Tony Calibur:
"Introducing first, from Springfield, Illinois… at a combined weight of 254 pounds… The Cummings Twins!"
[They enter the ring, climbing opposite turnbuckles mocking the fans before regrouping in their corner.]
[Cue “Crimson Hymn” by The Thorns of Orpheus – Talia Nocturne emerges with the Heritage Women’s Championship over her shoulder, walking with a slow, deliberate confidence. Selena Blackfang appears behind her, Ladies World Championship in hand, the two exchanging a knowing glance before heading toward the ring together. Count Vlad follows behind.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Here come two of the most dominant women in HCW—Heritage Women’s Champion Talia Nocturne and Ladies World Champion Selena Blackfang. And while they’re not regular partners, they’re both members of the Dark Dominion—meaning they know how to work toward a common goal."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"And the goal tonight? Crush the Twins, then go on to win the Iron Maidens Tag Team Titles too. Can you imagine the Dominion with even more gold? And Vlad is here which means anything can happen."
Tony Calibur:
"And their opponents… at a combined weight of 278 pounds… the Heritage Women’s Champion, Talia Nocturne, and the Ladies World Champion, Selena Blackfang!"
[Selena and Talia enter the ring, handing their belts to Count Vlad before both stand together in the center, glaring across at the Cummings Twins. ‘Honest’ Abe steps between them, calls for the bell, and the match begins.]
Match #4: Tournament Quarterfinals: Cummings Twins vs Selena/Talia
The bell had barely rung before all four women were throwing heavy offense. Selena Blackfang and Talia Nocturne hit a pair of big double-team maneuvers, but the Cummings Twins fired right back, refusing to be intimidated by two reigning champions.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"This is the kind of intensity you expect when the stakes are this high—winner moves on to the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship semi-finals."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"And loser gets to watch from the couch, Mike. You think either of those champions want to be on the couch? Not a chance."
Betsy Cummings took control with a crisp Leaping Snapmare, following up with a quick tag to Felicia. Selena fought to stay upright—but suddenly, chaos erupted at ringside as Ashley “Diamond” Summers appeared from the crowd and cracked Selena across the back with a steel chair.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"That’s Ashley Summers! What in the world is she doing out here?!"
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Making a statement, Mike—Selena’s got something she wants."
Felicia wasted no time, blasting Selena with a Running Kneelift and covering for the three-count, eliminating the Dominion duo from the tournament.
Winner: The Cummings Twins (pinfall over Selena Blackfang via Running Kneelift)
Post-Match Segment – World Ladies Title Contract Signing
[The crowd is still buzzing when Count Vlad storms the ring, clipboard in hand, Selena seething at his side. Ashley Summers reappears at the entrance with Ruth Heartless, looking proud of herself. A table is quickly set up in the ring.]
Count Vlad:
"Ah… Ms. Summers. You want the spotlight so badly you would attack my queen in the middle of her match? Very well… if you crave the pain, let us put it in writing."
[Ashley smirks, walking to the ring with Ruth. She grabs the pen and signs first without even sitting down.]
Ashley “Diamond” Summers:
"Selena, that chair shot? That was just me knocking on your door. At Reign of Champions, I’m walking through it… and taking your title with me."
[Selena snatches the pen, never breaking eye contact as she scrawls her name, then slams the pen onto the table. She steps forward into Ashley’s face.]
Selena Blackfang:
"You should have killed the queen, little girl… because now the queen comes for you."
[Before Selena can say more, Talia Nocturne steps in front of her, nose-to-nose with Ashley. Talia shoves her back—and that’s when Luciana Albano storms down the ramp, sliding into the ring to go after Talia. All four women explode into a brawl, fists flying, with Ruth and Pierre Boulay shouting from opposite sides.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"This is chaos! All four women are tearing into each other!"
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Champions, challengers, grudges, gold—it’s all colliding in one giant fight!"
[The fight spills out of the ring and up the ramp, the brawl raging all the way through the curtain as security struggles to keep up. The camera cuts to commercial with the sound of the crowd roaring in the background.]
[Backstage – Interview Area]
[Candace Hart stands with Jax Brenner and Molly Mason. Jax’s arms are crossed, Molly standing just off to his side with a wary look. Before Candace can start her question, Yeti and Feral walk into frame from the left, cutting the interview off cold.]
Yeti:
"Jaxie, Jaxie, Jaxie. Eight… long… minutes to beat Doofus Covfefe. Eight minutes that told the world exactly what I already knew—you’re slow, you’re soft, and you’re nothing without the Dark Dominion propping you up."
[Molly steps forward, glaring.]
Molly Mason:
"You’ve got a big mouth for someone who spends half his time hiding behind Feral."
[Feral smirks but stays quiet, arms folded. Jax steps forward nose-to-nose with Yeti.]
Jax Brenner:
"You want to keep talking, or do you want to find out what happens when I shut you up…again?"
[Yeti tilts his head, grinning.]
Yeti:
"In case you hadn’t heard, Polly Mason has been… set free. And the chaos that follows will be glorious. You can’t save her, Molly. Obviously, Jax couldn’t save anyone. And tomorrow… I’ll prove it again."
[Jax snaps and shoves Yeti, sparking an instant brawl. Feral jumps in from the side, and Molly tries to pull Jax free as the four start swinging. Candace quickly backs out of frame as crew members rush in.]
[Max McGillicutty storms into the scene, voice booming.]
Max McGillicutty:
"Hey! Hey! Break it up! Jax, Why does it seem like you’re the one starting trouble here? I’ll tell you what - tomorrow night, I’m making it official: Yeti and Feral against you and Molly Mason. Mixed tag."
Jax Brenner:
"Fine by me!"
[Max points a finger directly at Jax.]
Max McGillicutty:
"And as for right now—you’re done for the night. Out of the building. Or I’ll make sure you’re watching Reign of Champions from your couch."
[Jax glares at Max, then back at Yeti before reluctantly walking off with Molly. Yeti straightens his jacket and looks into the camera.]
Yeti:
"Glorious…"
[The camera lingers on Yeti’s cold smile as Max gives a satisfied nod beside him.]
[Back from commercial, camera cuts to Tony Calibur in the ring.]
Tony Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!"
[Cue “Legacy March” by Iron Banner – Son of Drew steps through the curtain, a determined look on his face as the crowd gives a solid cheer. He slaps a few hands on his way down the aisle, eyes locked on the ring.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Son of Drew’s been steadily carving his place here in HCW, and tonight he’s got a tall order in front of him—TNT is as explosive as they come."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"I’ll give the kid credit—he’s got heart, but this is like walking into a dynamite factory with a lit match. TNT can blow up a match in seconds."
Tony Calibur:
"Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania… weighing 227 pounds… Son of Drew!"
[He enters the ring, loosening up in the corner, keeping focused.]
[Cue “Pyroshock Anthem” by Voltage Saints – TNT bursts onto the stage with a cocky grin, arms spread wide as pyro erupts behind him. He mouths off to the crowd, drawing boos, and makes his way to the ring with a swagger in his step.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"TNT’s confidence is never in short supply, and with his record lately, he’s got reason to feel dangerous heading into this one."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Not just dangerous, Mike—unpredictable. If you think you know what TNT’s going to do next, you’re probably already flat on your back staring at the lights."
Tony Calibur:
"And his opponent, from Houston, Texas… weighing 242 pounds… TNT!"
[TNT steps through the ropes, pointing at Son of Drew and miming an explosion with his hands before retreating to his corner. ‘Honest’ Abe signals for the bell.]
Match #5: Son of Drew vs TNT
The opening lockup was quick and aggressive, both men exchanging early offense. Son of Drew caught TNT with a crisp Armdrag Takedown, but TNT answered back with a heavy Standing Suplex to set the tone.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"These two came out swinging—no feeling-out process at all."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"That’s what happens when you put two guys in the ring who both think they’re the hammer. Somebody’s going to find out they’re actually the nail."
Son of Drew followed with a big Bodyslam, only for TNT to neutralize the momentum with a counter and a quick shot to slow him down. But the crowd came alive when Son of Drew exploded out of the corner with a perfect Superkick that caught TNT flush.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Right on the button! That might have knocked the wind clear out of TNT!"
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"And maybe some teeth along with it!"
Son of Drew immediately hooked the leg and scored the three-count, earning a decisive and fast victory.
Winner: Son of Drew (pinfall over TNT via Superkick)
[Back from commercial, the camera cuts to Tony Calibur in the center of the ring.]
Tony Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event of the evening! Scheduled for one fall!"
[Cue “Sugar Rush Riot” by Sweet Chaos – Ghee Buttersnaps bounces out onto the stage, his trademark colorful scarf trailing behind him as he pumps up the crowd. He twirls into a little dance step halfway down the ramp, slapping hands with fans before sliding into the ring.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Ghee Buttersnaps has been all smiles this week, but don’t let the playful demeanor fool you—he’s got the kind of unpredictable offense that can rattle even a monster like Wilber Townsend."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Yeah, Mike, but Wilber isn’t just a monster—he’s The Butcher of the Bayou. You can be as unpredictable as you want, but if he gets his hands on you, you’re just meat for the grinder."
Tony Calibur:
"Introducing first, from Sweetwater, Alabama… weighing 212 pounds… Ghee Buttersnaps!"
[Ghee poses on the middle rope, pointing toward the curtain as the music fades.]
[Cue “Swamp Gospel” by The Devil’s Hymn – The arena plunges into a deep, murky green light as Count Vlad emerges on stage, his hand resting on the shoulder of Wilber Townsend. Wilber steps forward slowly, his eyes locked on the ring, that eerie bayou-born grin never leaving his face.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"And here they come—Count Vlad and Wilber Townsend. Wilber’s got his sights set on Mr. X’s U.S. Title at Reign of Champions, but tonight, his focus is on sending a message."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"And if history’s taught us anything, Mike, when Wilber sends a message… it usually ends with someone not getting back up."
[As Wilber and Vlad start their slow, deliberate walk to the ring, the lights suddenly flicker—once, twice—before plunging into total darkness. A single, white flame appears on the big screen, flickering against a black background. A distorted, echoing voice cuts through the silence.]
The Voice:
"The heretic will be purified… the feast denied… the flame endures."
[The flame extinguishes. The lights snap back on, revealing Vlad and Wilber frozen mid-walk, their eyes darting toward the screen. Murmurs ripple through the crowd before Wilber resumes his slow march to the ring, his expression twisted into something between anger and intrigue.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"That’s the White Fist again, Johnny—interrupting yet another Dark Dominion moment. And if I know Count Vlad, he’s not going to let that go unanswered."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Whoever’s behind that flame better pray they never get found, because the Dominion doesn’t just fight back—they eradicate threats."
Tony Calibur:
"And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Count Vlad, from the bayous of Louisiana… weighing 284 pounds… Wilber Townsend!"
[Wilber steps into the ring, glaring across at Ghee Buttersnaps as Vlad confers with him in the corner. ‘Honest’ Abe checks both men before calling for the bell.]
Match #6: Wilber Townsend w/ Count Vlad vs Ghee Buttersnaps
The bell rang with both men locking up hard, trading holds and testing each other’s strength. Wilber clamped on a Rear Chinlock, but Ghee fired back with a Front Chancery, keeping the pace tight and physical.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Ghee Buttersnaps isn’t intimidated one bit—he’s matching Wilber hold for hold here in the opening moments."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Sure, but you don’t win matches by just surviving, Mike. You have to find a way to hurt the Butcher of the Bayou, and that’s a tall order."
Ghee gained the upper hand with bursts of offense, stringing together a Side Chinlock and Power Arm Bar, but Wilber’s raw strength turned the tide with a crushing Lifting Sideslam. From there, Count Vlad made his presence felt, nailing Ghee with a Transylvania Spike behind the referee’s back, allowing Wilber to nearly score the pin.
The match escalated with both men exchanging big moves—Scoop Powerslam, Go to Sleep, and more—but every time Ghee kicked out, Wilber’s grin widened.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"You can see it in Wilber’s eyes—he’s not frustrated, he’s enjoying this punishment he’s dishing out."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"That’s the Dominion way, Mike—they savor every second of it."
After weathering Ghee’s late rally, Wilber blasted him with another series of Hammering Blows to the Back, driving him to the mat for the three-count.
Winner: Wilber “Terror Fang” Townsend (pinfall via Hammering Blows to Back)
Post-Match – World Tag Team Title Contract Signing
[Wilber leaves the ring with Vlad, who remains behind, mic in hand, as the HCW World Tag Team Champions, The Nightstalkers—Bloodfang and Shadowfang—make their way down the ramp. Before Wilber disappears behind the curtain, he is attacked by Mr. X and they take it backstage. Meanwhile, the champions enter the ring, each holding their belts high as Vlad gestures toward a table set up in the center.]
Count Vlad:
"Ah… the champions. The final piece of the Dominion’s masterpiece. At Reign of Champions, the belts will remain exactly where they belong."
[Bloodfang and Shadowfang set their belts down on the table and take their seats, pens in hand. But before a single signature is made, the arena goes dark. The crowd erupts in noise—then the lights snap back on.]
[Dirty Dick Albano and Vicious Vinnie are in the ring, already attacking the champions. Fists fly, boots land heavy, and the crowd boos mercilessly as the New Sicilians take control. They whip Bloodfang into the ropes and hit the 3D, dropping him flat, then turn to Shadowfang and plant him with the same move.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"Where did they come from?! The New Sicilians just laid out the Nightstalkers!"
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Message delivered, Mike—those belts are in serious danger!"
[Vinnie and Dick grab the contracts, each scribbling their names before tossing the pen onto the table. Dick smirks and flicks the pen hard at Vlad, who stands in the corner the whole time, arms folded, completely unmoved by the chaos.]
[The New Sicilians step through the ropes and make their way up the ramp, satisfied. Vlad’s expression is stone cold… until the camera catches the corners of his mouth curling into a slow, knowing smile.]
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
"That’s… not the reaction I expected from Count Vlad."
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
"Maybe he knows something we don’t, Mike. And that might be the scariest part. Stay tuned…this is not slowing down at all."
[Live Wire fades out on Vlad’s smile, the broken bodies of the champions still laid out in the ring.]
