Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. Before we get to the action, we have some pre-taped segments to air.
[Backstage – Pre-Taped Segment: an enraged Jax Brenner]
We cut backstage to a demolished locker room with some officials trying to calm Jax down and some officials laid out on the floor already. He grabs the 2 left standing and slams them into the wall as he sees the cameraman come into the room. He turns to the lens and roars "Yeti!!! I AM SICK OF YOUR GAMES!!! If you know what happened to my sister, you will tell me... or I WILL RIP THE WORDS RIGHT OUT OF YOUR THROAT!!! <snarl> I will tell you this... If I see even one of those shirts, if it be worn by you, Vlad or even a sick fan out in the audience or out on the streets, I will tear it off of them PERSONALLY!!!
[Backstage – Pre-Taped Segment: Gardinia Blue Watches On]
[Scene fades in to a dimly lit surveillance room. The glow from half a dozen monitors illuminates the face of Gardinia Blue, HCW’s forensic investigator. She’s seated alone, leaning forward, lips pressed together, eyes locked on the central screen—where the replay of Count Vlad crowning Korbi Kong as Empress plays on loop.]
[We hear the final words echo again faintly from the monitor:]
Count Vlad (on tape):
“Behold… the Empress of the Dark Dominion.”
[Gardinia slowly exhales through her nose. The expression on her face is hard to read—part sorrow, part calculation. She reaches for a worn notepad, flipping it open to a page already littered with scribbled names and arrows. She circles one name: "Korbi", and then draws a line directly to "Vlad."]
Gardinia Blue (quietly):
"And there it is..."
"The final piece. Every move... every whisper... it all led to this."
[She leans back, thinking, as the Dominion banner still hangs on the monitor. After a long silence, she lifts her phone and dials. A faint ring tone echoes in the otherwise silent room. She waits. No answer. She tries again.]
Gardinia Blue (into phone):
"Sir... we need to talk. No more waiting."
[She hangs up. The screen behind her loops one more time—Korbi, arms folded, the Empress title glowing beneath the Dominion’s shadow. Gardinia stares at it as the camera slowly zooms in on her reflection in the glass.]
Gardinia Blue (whispers):
"This ends... when I say it does."
[Fade out.]
The screen fades in from black. The Velocity logo pulses against a thunderous rock instrumental, pyrotechnics blasting across the entrance ramp as the camera sweeps across a packed arena of screaming fans holding up signs like “STACHE ME IF YOU CAN” and “YETI IS LEGEND!” The lighting turns to a cold electric blue as the show’s intro fades into the live broadcast feed.
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson:
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to HCW: Velocity! We are live, we are loud, and we are loaded for another night of high-octane action! I'm Mike 'the Voice' Johnson, joined by my longtime broadcast partner—
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris:
—the hammer to his voice, baby! Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris here, and Mike, I’ve got goosebumps already. Tonight's card is stacked like a mile-high hoagie at a Philly deli!
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson:
We’ve got the monstrous Yeti with the oh-so-odd Polly Mason in action, the flamboyant and formidable Rich Athlete in singles competition, and Azrael of the Dark Dominion looking to send another soul into the abyss.
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris:
Not to mention a showdown between Dixie Caverns and Lavender Gooms—two unpredictable competitors who sure to delight the audience!
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson:
And if that wasn’t enough to get your adrenaline surging, our main event will see the Fangs of Despair defend the HCW Heritage Tag Team Titles against the Million Dollar Alliance's very own Evan Stockwell and Sterling Silverman.
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris:
And guess who’s promised to be ringside? None other than Ruth Heartless herself! She says she’s gonna keep Count Vlad and his creepy cronies in check. That’s like throwing gasoline on a fire and daring it to explode!
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson:
This one’s going to get intense, folks. Stay with us all night—we’ve got rivalries, surprises, and championship gold on the line. HCW: Velocity starts... now!
The camera cuts to the backstage area as the first match begins preparations, with the roar of the crowd continuing to surge.
Pyro goes off as Son of Drew comes out to a solid pop from the crowd. He shakes hands with the fans and gets into the ring. Next, the Yeti comes out to massive booing from the crowd. Polly Mason accompanies him and he growls at the fans. He and Polly make their way to the ring. Prior to entering the ring, Polly opens her bag and hands the Yeti some plastic bags. The bags have a piece of blue fabric with red splotches on it. He begins throwing them to the audience laughing. Polly throws out some Bubba Jaxie shirts too. I’m sure this is going to enrage Jax.
He gets into the ring and Polly skips around.
Match #1: The Yeti w/Polly Mason vs Son of Drew.
Both competitors were already inside the ring as the bell sounded—Son of Drew bouncing on the ropes, full of frenetic energy, while the towering Yeti stood stone still in his corner, a glacier of menace.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"You can feel the chill in the air whenever the Yeti steps between those ropes."
Son of Drew struck first, flipping into a dazzling handstand headscissors that staggered the beast and brought the crowd to life. But the Yeti responded immediately with a deafening Abominable Growl, shaking the rafters and rattling Son of Drew’s composure.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"That’s not just intimidation—that growl gets in your bones, Mike!"
Yeti kept pouring on the pressure in the second exchange, roaring again to disorient Drew and land some heavy blows. But Son of Drew refused to fold. The fans rallied behind him as he connected once more with his signature handstand headscissors, even landing a superkick in the flurry that followed. Still, the monster refused to fall.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"Every time Drew finds momentum, the Yeti just absorbs it like a mountain weathering the wind!"
After surviving an early Tombstone Piledriver, Son of Drew showed grit, kicking out of the pin at one… and again at two following a second devastating spike. But Molly Mason, ever the sharp-eyed strategist, pointed out a weakness to Yeti, giving him the opening to hit yet another piledriver and force another pin attempt. Drew’s resilience remained the story—until it couldn’t be anymore.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"This kid’s got heart for days, but that don’t mean squat when you’re looking up at the lights!"
Despite a final flash of defiance—a sharp slap combo and one last flying headscissors—Son of Drew couldn’t withstand the avalanche. Yeti hoisted him up and flattened him with a monstrous Power Smash.
"Honest" Abe dove to the mat…
1… 2… 3!
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"That’s it! The Yeti with an ice-cold finish, and Son of Drew gave it everything he had!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"The kid threw his best flurries, but the avalanche still buried him. That’s what happens when you climb the mountain, Mike—you either summit, or the Yeti breaks you!"
Winner: The Yeti (via pinfall, Power Smash)
The big man stood tall, letting out one final guttural roar as the crowd rumbled. Son of Drew, clutching his back, was helped to the outside by medics—but even in defeat, he earned respect. The Yeti? Just another victim added to his growing legend.
Post-Match Mayhem & Surprise Tag Match Setup
As the Yeti stood victorious, his massive chest heaving, arms raised to the disapproval of the crowd, the lights in the arena dimmed… then pulsed red.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Wait a second—what the hell is this?!”
Charging through the curtain like a runaway locomotive came Jax "The Alaskan Wildman" Brenner, swinging a steel chair with zero hesitation. He slid into the ring and blasted the Yeti right between the eyes, finally knocking the monster off his feet!
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Jax ain’t waitin’ for House of Horrors—he’s bringin’ the terror right now!”
The two behemoths brawled in a flurry of fists and forearms as the crowd erupted. Meanwhile, Polly Mason rushed down the ramp, eyes locked on Molly Mason, who had just reentered the ring to check on Yeti. Without hesitation, Polly tackled Molly and the two women began clawing, scratching, and throwing fists like a pair of unleashed tornadoes.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This is chaos! We need security—referees—something!”
But before the situation could spiral further, the arena lights flashed gold and black—then the new theme of General Manager Max McGillicutty hit. The crowd jeered mercilessly as Max strutted out onto the stage in his sharp black Dark Dominion-issued suit, microphone in hand, smirking like a man who had anticipated this all along.
Max McGillicutty:
"Oh, how adorable. The Wildman thinks he’s still in charge of his temper.”
(pauses as the boos swell)
"Well, if the four of you want to fight so badly… then why not do it officially? Ring the bell. Right now. Tag team action—Yeti and Polly Mason… versus Jax Brenner and Molly Mason!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“He just made it official on the spot! This place is coming unglued!”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“You talk about combustible elements, Johnny—this ring is a pressure cooker about to blow!”
Before the match begins, Jax sees one of the aforementioned t-shirts and did what he promised earlier. Count Vlad also made his way down to stand with Yeti and Polly.
Referee "Honest" Abe, reluctantly called for the bell as both sides scrambled to their corners. The crowd was on its feet, roaring in anticipation as the impromptu tag match was set to begin—wild, raw, and personal.
Match #2: Yeti & Polly Mason w/Count Vlad vs Jax Brenner & Molly Mason
The impromptu tag match exploded out of the gate with raw aggression and long-brewing resentment. The ring barely had time to clear from the earlier chaos before Jax Brenner stormed at the Yeti like a man possessed, landing a nasty stomp to the gut that echoed through the arena.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"This isn’t a match, Johnny—it’s a score that’s way overdue!"
Before the Yeti could recover, Jax charged across the ring apron and leapt at Count Vlad—who had been lurking at ringside—cracking him with a wild right hand that sent the Dark Dominion’s sinister puppet master crashing to the floor. The crowd erupted as Vlad slumped against the barricade, clearly shaken and completely out of commission.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"JAX JUST DROPPED COUNT VLAD LIKE A BAD STOCK TIP! That man is not getting back up anytime soon!"
With Vlad incapacitated, it looked like Jax and Polly finally had the advantage. Jax went after Yeti with another gut stomp, but the Abominable One returned fire with a Power Smash that rattled the Wildman’s spine. Still, Jax kept coming.
But just when it seemed like he might tip the balance, Yeti and Polly began double-teaming the Alaskan Wildman. Yeti locked in a grinding headlock while Polly flung Jax over the ropes with a Toss to the Outside, sending him crashing hard to the arena floor.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"They're using every ounce of that double-team window, and 'Honest' Abe is letting it go!"
Jax crawled back in at the count of seven, fury still in his eyes. He battled back with a Towering Suplex, even while Polly suplexed him (with help from the Yeti) right back with her own Northern Lights, but the fatigue was mounting.
Count Vlad then made a motion…ever so slight but we caught it. Then it happened. Just as Jax was tossed outside once more by Polly, and Yeti followed with a crushing slam, the lights flickered—and from the shadows emerged Azrael of the Dark Dominion, darting out of the crowd!
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"No no no—don’t tell me they pulled the trigger! AZRAEL IS OUT HERE!"
Azrael ran Jax into the steel post while Yeti distracted the ref and Polly jaw jacked with Molly (who never made it into the ring). Referee "Honest" Abe, unaware of what happened, made the 10-count, and the bell rang.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"HE GOT COUNTED OUT?! You've gotta be kidding me!"
Winner: Yeti & Polly Mason (via Count-Out)
As Jax finally recovered (with Molly’s help), the match was already over. Azrael disappeared into the crowd, his job done. Yeti stood tall with Molly by his side. Vlad, still down at ringside, was now being helped away by Dominion goons dressed as druids—but the damage had been done to both sides.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"This ain’t over, Mike. Not by a long shot. The Wildman just got robbed, and you know he's gonna burn the forest down to get even."
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"Azrael may’ve tipped the scale tonight—but what happens when Jax tips it back and buries it under an avalanche?"
The war between the Wildman and the Dominion rages on.
We get ready for our next match. Billy Robbins makes his way out first to a solid pop from the crowd. He gets into the ring and pumps up the fans for this next match. The music changes and out comes the Dark Dominion’s very own angel – Azrael. Azrael is out here alone after Count Vlad was incapacitated after being attacked by Jax Brenner.
Match #3: Azrael w/o Count Vlad vs Billy Robbins
With Count Vlad noticeably absent from ringside due to Jax Brenner’s earlier assault, Azrael emerged alone, stalking to the ring with fury simmering beneath his stoic exterior. Billy Robbins, always high-energy and crowd-friendly, got a solid pop as he sprinted down the ramp, ready for war.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“No Vlad right now, no tricks tonight—Azrael’s on his own, and Billy Robbins is as focused as we’ve ever seen him!”
Right out of the gate, the two exchanged high-impact moves—Azrael landing a spear, only for Billy to retaliate with a flying body press. The crowd was rocking, and both men went for pins early, testing the waters for a quick win.
But Azrael kept up the pressure. A sunset flip, a pair of flying head scissors, and his signature “Vengeance” slam had Billy reeling at points, barely kicking out of two different near-falls.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Say what you want about the Dark Dominion, but Azrael’s got the gas tank of a demon and a mean streak to match!”
Still, Billy’s athleticism shined. A moonsault, standing suplex, and a sudden reversal of another spear ignited the crowd, who rallied behind the fan-favorite.
Midway through, the tide seemed to shift once more—Azrael connected with “The Darkness”, a brutal spinning slam, and nearly had the match won. "Honest" Abe dropped down—one, two—NO! Billy kicked out just in time.
Then came the turning point.
As Azrael delivered a leg drop, he backed into referee “Honest” Abe, who took a spill to the canvas. The official was down… and that’s when the arena erupted.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“WAIT A SECOND—THAT’S JAX BRENNER AGAIN! HE’S BACK!”
Charging through the crowd like a wildfire let loose, Jax "The Alaskan Wildman" Brenner slid into the ring and unleashed a hellstorm on Azrael. A spine-jarring clothesline, a gutwrench suplex, and finally a ring-shaking Alaskan Slam left Azrael sprawled in the center of the mat.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“JAX JUST UNLOADED ON AZRAEL! HE TURNED THAT MAN INTO PULP!”
With the damage done and the crowd roaring in approval, Jax simply rolled out of the ring and disappeared as quickly as he arrived.
Billy, dazed but aware, crawled to the corner and climbed to the top rope. With “Honest” Abe groggily coming to, Billy Robbins leapt and connected with a perfect Frankensteiner from the top rope!
1… 2… 3!
Winner: Billy Robbins (via pinfall, Top-Rope Frankensteiner)
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Justice served ice cold—Azrael had this match in hand until the Wildman came back to finish what he started!”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Azrael just got exorcised by Jax, and Billy Robbins just took the win straight to the bank!”
As Billy celebrated on the turnbuckle, pointing to the fans and mouthing “This one’s for Jax!”, Azrael lay in the wreckage, face down, humiliated—and alone. The Dominion’s grip continues to loosen… one crack at a time.
Match #4: The Rich Athlete w/ Ruth Heartless vs O.P. Cunningham for his spot in the World Title top 10
The crowd gave a hearty, homegrown cheer as O.P. Cunningham marched to the ring, slapping hands with fans, the salt-of-the-earth energy oozing from every step. The man in denim and grit cracked his neck and pointed toward the entrance, ready to roll.
But then…
"WOOOOO!"
The unmistakable wail of money, power, and arrogance screamed through the speakers as The Rich Athlete, dripping in gold chains and silk, strutted through the curtain in a glittering custom robe. At his side, the ever-calculated Ruth Heartless, cool and composed, adjusted his collar and held the ropes open for him like royalty.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"Here comes the self-proclaimed embodiment of success, luxury, and 'legendary genetics'—The Rich Athlete, and of course, the venom behind the velvet, Ruth Heartless."
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"There are tax brackets, Mike—and then there’s the Rich Athlete. And let me tell ya, this man suplexes people into poverty."
The bell rang and O.P. wasted no time, scooping the Rich Athlete off his feet and slamming him hard to the mat, bringing the fans to life. But the flamboyant millionaire was quick to recover. With a snap of his hips, he launched O.P. into a Seven-Figure Suplex, quickly rolling into a pin.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"You gotta give the devil his due—when the Rich Athlete turns it on, he delivers."
O.P. fought out at two, but the onslaught continued. Pectoral chops echoed off Cunningham’s chest like firecrackers, the Rich Athlete letting out a classic strut mid-ring—“WOOOO!” included.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"That’s not just a chop, that’s a trust-fund tax write-off right there!"
Still, O.P. refused to back down, stunning the arrogant star with a second scoop slam and an Electric Chair Facebuster, showing the grit and resilience that made him a fan favorite. Yet for every burst of offense, the Rich Athlete responded with Million Dollar Kneedrops, more chops, and another suplex that looked like it was gift-wrapped in Versace.
At one point, the Rich Athlete tried to toss O.P. to the outside, but the crafty Peabody boy blocked it, fired back with a shot to the ribs, and nearly turned the tide. The crowd began to rally again—until Ruth Heartless pounded the mat, calling for the end.
One more Seven-Figure Suplex.
Referee "Honest" Abe dropped to the mat.
1… 2… 3!
Winner: The Rich Athlete (via pinfall, Seven-Figure Suplex)
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"O.P. Cunningham gave it a heck of a fight, but tonight, the Rich Athlete bought himself another win—and probably a new yacht while he was at it!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"WOOOO! Like it or not, that’s why he says it, Mike—because when you’re stylin’, profilin’, and suplexin’ like that... you earn the spotlight."
As the Rich Athlete strutted up the ramp, Ruth held his robe open, placing a pair of diamond sunglasses on his face as he turned one last time to WOOOO at the crowd, leaving O.P. Cunningham down but far from out.
We’re ready for our next match. Lavender Gooms makes her way out first to a chorus of boos from the crowd. She sneers at them as she makes her way to the ring. Once there, the music changed and out comes Dixie Caverns. The crowd pops as she makes her way to the ring.
Match #5: Dixie Caverns vs Lavender Gooms
The bell never had a chance.
Before Dixie Caverns could even get her jacket off, Lavender Gooms exploded across the ring and blindsided her with a clubbing forearm to the back of the neck, sending the fan-favorite stumbling into the ropes.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Oh come on! Lavender Gooms isn’t waiting for an entrance, an introduction, or even a handshake—she’s just pouncing like a jackal!”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“That's how you set the tone, Mike! That’s how you let everyone know you mean business.”
Lavender tried to capitalize with a press and slam, but Dixie, tough as Tennessee limestone, fired back moments later with a diving crossbody and some classic tilt-a-whirl headscissors that had the crowd erupting. This was no clean, graceful affair—it was a back-and-forth brawl wrapped in athleticism.
Lavender Gooms, ever the opportunist, managed to sneak in her devastating submission “The Lavender Lock” not once but twice, contorting Dixie’s legs like a pretzel. But Dixie refused to quit, clawing her way to the ropes each time, jaw clenched, eyes burning with resolve.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“You have to admire Lavender’s game plan. She’s dissecting that knee like a surgeon with a grudge!”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“And Dixie’s surviving on guts and heart—and maybe a little Southern spite.”
As the minutes ticked by, the momentum shifted again and again—Lavender hitting a hurricanrana, then Dixie returning fire with multiple elbow drops and her signature facebusters, each one landing with more venom than the last.
Late in the match, it was anyone’s game. Lavender reversed a diving crossbody into another press and slam, but Dixie popped right back with a huge spinning heel kick, knocking Lavender loopy.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“These two are leaving it all in the ring—this is the kind of match that puts the Velocity in HCW!”
By the twenty-fifth minute, both women were running on fumes. Lavender hooked in a final Four-Leg Clover Leglock, but Dixie wouldn’t let it end there. She scrambled out, hit a legsweep, then rolled through with a beautiful Northern Lights Suplex—bridging perfectly into a cover!
"Honest" Abe dropped to count—
1… 2… 3!"
Winner: Dixie Caverns (via pinfall, Northern Lights Suplex)
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Lavender had her in trouble for nearly half the match, and Dixie still pulled it off! That’s grit, that’s fire, that’s Caverns Country!”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“What a fight! Dixie Caverns proves once again why she’s one of the toughest and most beloved stars in HCW today—and she did it the hard way.”
As Dixie stood tall, exhausted but beaming, the crowd roared in approval. Lavender, furious and frustrated, rolled out of the ring clutching her jaw. This wasn’t just a win—it was a statement. And Dixie made it loud and clear.
[The scene opens in a dimly lit dressing room, the camera positioned just outside the slightly ajar door. Flickering light from a single overhead bulb casts shadows across the room, enhancing the ominous atmosphere. Inside, Yeti and Count Vlad, looking a little better than he did at the beginning of the show, stand before a hooded figure—a mystery woman wearing a partial face mask.
Polly flutters around the room, humming her haunting melodies and giggling occasionally.
The identity of the mystery woman remains obscured. Next to her stands a distinguished gentleman with glasses perched on his nose and medium-length gray hair neatly combed. Looming behind them are two brutish, beast-like men, silent except for the occasional grunt or low growl.]
Yeti (admiring the hooded woman, his voice low and gravelly): "Thank you, Doctor. She is… perfect."
[The Doctor adjusts his glasses, nodding with satisfaction.]
The Doctor (with calm confidence): "Yes, she has taken well to the training provided by the Beast Master. The results have exceeded even my expectations."
[Yeti and Count Vlad exchange devious smiles. Vlad, with his ever-charismatic presence, steps forward, addressing the Doctor with his signature mix of charm and menace.]
Count Vlad (grinning widely): "Ah, Doctor, you truly are a master of your craft. Your work… is unparalleled. This is the kind of brilliance I love to invest in. Tell me, though, how do you manage to keep everything so… discreet? Surely, an operation like this doesn’t go unnoticed."
The Doctor (with a knowing smirk): "Do not worry, Count. The Enclave knows nothing. We shut down the compound before they could discover our work. All traces of what we were doing are gone. The entire operation… wiped clean."
[Yeti chuckles darkly, leaning closer.]
Yeti (mocking): "Excellent. We can’t have those fools ruining our fun here in HCW. What we’re building here… it’s too important. Too perfect."
[The Doctor joins in Yeti’s laughter, and Count Vlad lets out an exaggerated chuckle, clapping his hands once in approval. Polly giggles, twirling beside the mystery woman, her humming growing louder and more melodic.]
[The two beast-like men remain silent, only grunting and growling occasionally, their intimidating presence adding to the tension in the room.]
Yeti (turning to Vlad, his tone sly): "You see, Count? Your money is well worth the investment here. The program… the opportunities… they’re endless."
Count Vlad (smiling widely, his voice smooth): "Ah, Yeti, I never doubted it for a second. This… this is the kind of future I am willing to bet everything on."
[Vlad pulls an envelope from inside his jacket—clearly stuffed with money—and hands it to the Doctor with a flourish.]
Count Vlad (chuckling): "For your continued excellence, Doctor. Let this ensure that we keep… elevating the program."
[The Doctor pockets the envelope with a curt nod, motioning to the beast-like men. They flank him as they turn to leave. The camera lingers on their retreating figures but then pivots to the mystery woman who’s hood obscures her identity until the very last moment.]
[As the door closes, Yeti turns his attention to the hooded woman, studying her with visible admiration. Polly skips around them, her laughter echoing off the walls.]
Yeti (softly, his voice filled with sinister intent): "Your time is now, my pet."
[The screen fades to black, leaving the audience with more questions than answers, the tension hanging thick in the air.]
Match #6: The Main Event: Heritage Tag Team Title match: The Fangs of Despair w/Count Vlad vs The Million Dollar Alliance (Evan Stockwell & Sterling Silverman) w/ Ruth Heartless.
VS
As the lights dimmed, the crowd buzzed with anticipation, sensing the gravity of the main event. Suddenly, the arena was bathed in shimmering gold and platinum light.
"Money. Power. Legacy."
The smug voiceover echoed as Ruth Heartless emerged from the curtain in a flawless crimson power suit, flanked on either side by her gleaming golden investment: Evan "The Financial Maverick" Stockwell and Sterling Silverman, the latter raising his diamond-studded shades to sneer at the audience.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"Here they come—the tax write-off team from hell, the Million Dollar Alliance, looking to cash in on tag team glory."
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"They’ve got the money, they’ve got the management, and they’ve got two very expensive suits of armor walking down that ramp. This could be trouble for the champs."
Ruth climbed the steps first, holding the ropes for both men before directing them into the ring like a conductor leading a symphony of arrogance. She turned to the crowd and smirked, mouthing, “New champions tonight.” The boos poured in like a tidal wave.
Then, without warning—
The lights cut to black.
Crimson and indigo strobes began to pulse as ominous chanting filled the arena.
GONG.
A slow swirl of smoke poured from the stage as the unmistakable theme of the Fangs of Despair erupted through the speakers. From the shadows, Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang stepped into the light, their faces painted in blood and ash, moving with grim purpose.
And then came Count Vlad.
Looking bruised but upright, he emerged from behind them—his cane tapping rhythmically on the steel ramp, his eyes seething with fire, but his poise unbroken. The crowd, half in awe and half in fear, gave a mixed reaction as the Dominus of Darkness lifted his hand and pointed toward the ring.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"Vlad’s not 100%, but he’s here—and you know he wouldn’t miss this. The Fangs have gold to protect, and Dominion pride to uphold."
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"I’ll give the devil his due—Jax Brenner knocked Vlad’s jaw loose last week, but the man looks ready to bite back tonight."
The Fangs stalked to the ring, climbing opposite corners and baring their teeth at the challengers while Vlad stood ringside, cold and composed.
The champions handed over their Heritage Tag Team titles to "Honest" Abe, who held them high as the crowd roared.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"It’s Dominion power versus corporate greed. Ritual versus ruthlessness. And when it’s all said and done—only one team leaves with the gold."
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"Buckle up. This one’s gonna draw blood."
Tag team championship action… starts now.
Evan Stockwell opened the match hot, slamming Nightfang into the corner and asserting early control. But Nightfang retaliated fast with a flying elbow ram, even as Ruth Heartless barked insults from the floor, keeping her men sharp.
Evan quickly tagged out to Sterling “The Silicon Tycoon” Silverman, but Nightfang caught him with a Transylvanian Piledriver and nearly scored a pin—Slow-Count Sam dragging out every second of the count.
Soon, Dr. Red Fang entered the fray, and Dominion double-teaming commenced in full. Nightfang and Red Fang hit a Skull Crusher and a Dropkick out of the Ring, sending Silverman reeling. Sterling countered with a Stock Market Crash Piledriver, but the Fangs were relentless.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
"You think you can out-scheme the Dominion in a numbers game? That’s adorable."
Red Fang shouted “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY!” as he dove onto Silverman with wild fury, echoing through the arena like a war cry. The audience roared with delight.
Sterling fought back with multiple swinging neckbreakers, and eventually, everyone spilled into the ring: Nightfang, Red Fang, Evan, Sterling—it turned into a financial free-for-all meets gothic nightmare.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
"It’s chaos! Chaos with title implications!"
When the dust settled, Sterling was left with Nightfang in the ring. The Tycoon swung wildly, but Nightfang trapped him in the Spider Web Leglock! Sterling flailed, reaching for the ropes, but couldn’t find escape as Nightfang wrenched the hold tighter.
Slow-Count Sam finally dropped for the count…
1…2…3!
Winners and Still HCW Heritage Tag Team Champions: The Fangs of Despair (via pinfall, Spider Web Leglock)
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“That’s the bite that breaks the bank, baby! The Million Dollar Alliance just overdrafted!”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“The Fangs retain, and Count Vlad stands tall once again. If that was him hurt… imagine what’s next when he’s fully recovered.”
As the Fangs raised their belts, Count Vlad slowly climbed the steel steps, entering the ring with a grin that promised more pain in HCW’s future. Ruth Heartless screamed at the referee, furious, while Evan dragged a limping Sterling to the back—another high-profile failure for the Alliance.
The lights dimmed, the fog returned… and the Dominion reigned supreme in the final image of the night.
With that, tonight’s show comes to a close. There is much more to come so stay tuned.
