HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2024 #1050 –11/17 – Sunday Night Showdown

Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. In shocking fashion, the New Sicilians lost the Heritage Tag Team Titles and now, they are completely without any championships as they lost the World Tag Team Titles back at the House of Horrors PPV to Steel Justice back in October.  We expect to hear from the former champs later in the show today.  Speaking of World Tag Team Champions, Steel Justice will be on hand to talk about the after-match attack by the Fangs of Despair.  We will also have our 5th qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber and a follow-up announcement from GM Max McGillicutty.  Our main event will see the Commando Zack Brown finally get his rematch for the US Title against the Rich Athlete.  He will have to contend with Ruth Heartless and her constant meddling.  Let’s get to the action.

Match #1: Sarona Reiher vs Starla Nova

Starla Nova makes her way out first to a pop from the crowd.  As soon as she makes it into the ring, the music changes and the fans boo as Sarona Reiher makes her way out.  She flips off the fans and enters the ring.  She wastes no time in getting this one moving.

In a hard-hitting match, Sarona Reiher squared off against the resilient Starla Nova, and from the opening bell, it was clear Sarona was out to dominate.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:  "Sarona Reiher is a powerhouse in that ring. Starla's got her work cut out for her tonight!"

The action kicked off quickly, with Sarona executing a crushing Superfly Splash while Starla responded with a sharp dropkick. Both competitors landed their shots, but Sarona’s power edge was evident from the start.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:  "You can never count Starla out, but Sarona’s strength is on full display here!"

Starla tried to turn the tide with her signature Cutlass Spinning Backfist, connecting with Sarona multiple times. Yet, Sarona absorbed the blows, shaking them off and retaliating with a series of brutal moves, including a punishing Samoan Drop and a Jumping Headbutt.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:  "Sarona’s not just overpowering Starla, she’s outmaneuvering her at every turn!"

Starla mounted a brief comeback with another spinning backfist, but Sarona kept cutting her off, culminating in a powerful Hurl into the Corner, which completely knocked the wind out of Starla. The final blow came when Sarona delivered a devastating Samoan Drop, leaving Starla motionless on the mat.

With Starla down, Sarona confidently went for the pin.

1...2...3!

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:  "And just like that, Sarona Reiher secures the victory! Starla Nova gave it her all, but tonight belonged to Sarona!"

Sarona Reiher stood tall, celebrating her decisive win, while Starla struggled to recover. This was a dominant display from Sarona, sending a message to the entire women's division that she’s a force to be reckoned with.

Sarona laughs as her arm is raised and she once again flips off the fans as she leaves.  Starla is able to make her way to the back on her own.

The camera cuts backstage, where the New Sicilians—Dirty Dick Albano and Vicious Vinnie Albano—are pacing furiously, their faces twisted with frustration. Pierre Boulay, their fiery manager, stands between them, microphone in hand, his voice full of venom. The tension is palpable as they prepare to address the HCW Universe.

Pierre Boulay:  "This... this is a travesty! A month ago, you were looking at the undisputed tag team champions! The New Sicilians, the most dominant force in wrestling, holding both the World and Heritage Tag Team titles! And now... nothing!"

Boulay slams his fist against the wall in anger.

Vicious Vinnie Albano:  "We were at the top, the best tag team in this entire business! Steel Justice? Sons of Anarchy? They couldn’t touch us! And now we stand here, empty-handed, and there's only one reason for that..."

Dirty Dick Albano steps forward, his voice shaking with rage.

Dirty Dick Albano:  "Dominic... Marconi. The Italian Thoroughbred! You cost us everything, Marconi! You cost us what was rightfully ours! Two title reigns, gone because you couldn’t keep your nose out of our business!"

The camera zooms in on their faces, both filled with fury. Pierre takes over again, his eyes cold with calculation.

Pierre Boulay:  "Dominic Marconi, you’ve made enemies of the Albano Mafia but now, this is at a whole new level. This wasn't about competition; it wasn't about who was the better team. No, no—this was sabotage. You blindsided us at every turn, and because of you, my boys lost the World titles to Steel Justice in October and the Heritage belts to the Sons of Anarchy last week!"

Boulay glares into the camera, his voice filled with scorn.

Pierre Boulay:  "You want to play the hero? You want to be the Italian Thoroughbred that everyone cheers for? Well, you’ve unleashed something much worse. You’ve provoked the New Sicilians, and now... you will pay for it!"

Dirty Dick Albano leans into the camera, gritting his teeth.

Dirty Dick Albano:  "Marconi, you think you’re some kind of savior? You think you did something noble by costing us what is rightfully ours? All you did was sign your death warrant. We’re comin’ for you, Marconi. One way or another, you’re going to pay."

Vicious Vinnie Albano finishes, cracking his knuckles ominously.

Vicious Vinnie Albano:  "You cost us us what we bled for, Marconi. Now, we’re coming to take it back... but first, we deal with you and when we’re through with you, you won’t be able to walk out of that ring."

The promo ends with the three of them staring intensely into the camera, promising vengeance, as the screen fades to black.

Match #2: EC Qualifier #5: Duke Knight vs Dr. Red Fang w/ Count Vlad

Count Vlad and Dr. Red Fang come out first as “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY” screams from the speakers.  It looks like some fans (those way out of Vlad’s reach) brought some new signs mocking this Dr. Red Fang as well as the AI bot one.  Vlad’s eyes narrow and a sneer shows up on his lips.  He contains his anger and directs Fang into the ring.  The music changes and out comes Duke Knight.  Duke gets a huge pop from the crowd.  Duke has his eyes set on the Morningstar and the Hardcore title but he better not look past Dr. Red Fang and especially Count Vlad.

The match starts off with Duke going for a running clothesline but Fang reverses it and hits a Vampire Lunge dropping Duke.  Duke attempts to go for a hangman DDT but Fang neutralizes it.  Vlad is shouting words of encouragement to Dr. Red Fang.  Duke goes for another running clothesline but Fang once again reverses it and hits a Vampire Lunge.  Duke makes it to his feet and hits a neckbreaker.  Duke connects with the running clothesline but Fang hits a flying elbow ram.  Duke goes for a small package but Vlad jumps up on the apron to distract the ref.  As he’s being admonished, the Morningstar hits the ring and nails Duke with an Impaler DDT and locks in a Muta Lock.  As soon as Vlad stepped off the apron, Dr. Red Fang picked up Duke and hit an airplane spin.  He dropped Duke to the mat and (with a hook of the tights), he gets the 1-2-3.  Dr. Red Fang gets the win and goes on to the Elimination Chamber.

This then brings out GM Max McGillicutty.  Max says he has an announcement about the Elimination Chamber.  He reminds us that so far, only 5 people have qualified and normally, there are 6 competitors.  He says a 6th person, chosen at random, will be added to the Elimination Chamber match.  That person will not be revealed until the night of the chamber.  The fan pop at the announcement.  Fang and Count Vlad left and Duke made his way to the back.

Match #3: Negropolis vs Rafael Castillo

Rafa Castillo comes out first to a nice pop from the crowd.  He makes his way down to the ring.  The music changes and out comes Negropolis…accompanied by Count Vlad.  We did not think Vlad was going to accompany any “non-Fang” Dominion member to the ring but here he is.  Negropolis’ win/loss record isn’t all that great.  Maybe that changes tonight.  Count Vlad tells Negropolis what he needs to do and then the match begins.

The match between Negropolis and Rafael 'Rafa' Castillo was a brutal, back-and-forth battle that kept the HCW crowd on their feet. With Count Vlad looming at ringside, the tension was palpable, and everyone could sense that something sinister was bound to happen.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:  "Negropolis is out here tonight with something to prove. He’s one of the most dangerous men under Count Vlad’s wing, and with Rafa Castillo's speed and high-flying offense, this one’s going to be explosive!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:

"I’ve got my eyes on Count Vlad. You know that man doesn’t come down to ringside unless he’s planning something underhanded!"

The opening moments saw Rafa Castillo gaining the early advantage, hitting a perfect Running Shooting Star Press that left Negropolis stunned. But Negropolis, the calculating powerhouse, soon started turning the tide, showing why he's a deadly force under Count Vlad’s command.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:

"Castillo’s showing off his athleticism early on! He’s staying one step ahead of Negropolis!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:

"For now, Mike, but Negropolis is known for absorbing punishment and dishing it out twice as hard!"

True to form, Negropolis began to find his rhythm, countering one of Rafa’s high-flying moves with his Black Doom submission, but Rafa quickly neutralized it. The two traded blows, with Rafa relying on his speed to stay ahead, but Negropolis’s raw power allowed him to land a Snap Suplex that nearly ended the match.

Count Vlad:

"Look at this! Rafa Castillo’s like a bug on a windshield! He’s getting swatted every time he tries to take flight!"

As the match wore on, Negropolis took control, wearing down Rafa with a relentless assault, including a devastating Arm Whip of Doom. Every time Rafa looked like he could build momentum, Negropolis cut him off, and with Count Vlad executing timely distractions like a hit with the Transylvania Spike, it was only a matter of time.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:

"Vlad’s interference again! That man is everywhere, and Honest Abe didn’t even see it!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:

"Rafa’s in trouble, Mike. Count Vlad is always a step ahead, and Negropolis is just feeding off that."

The final sequence saw Negropolis hit his signature move, the Black Doom, followed by the lethal strike from Count Vlad. With Rafa Castillo laid out, Negropolis made the cover for the 1-2-3.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:

"And there it is! Negropolis, with the help of that sneaky Count Vlad, picks up the win!"

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:

"Rafa gave it everything he had, but when you're in the ring with the Dark Dominion, it’s never a fair fight!"

With Negropolis victorious, the Dark Dominion’s control over HCW continues to grow stronger, leaving fans wondering what havoc they’ll wreak next.

Rafa leaves as Negropolis celebrates his win.  Count Vlad appears very impressed.  They leave to massive booing from the crowd.

Steel Justice—Alex "Skyhawk" Justice and Kellyn "The Raven Archer" Chrisari—are backstage, visibly fired up after the attack they suffered at the hands of The Fangs of Despair on 11/10. Their HCW World Tag Team Championship belts gleam under the lights as the camera zooms in on their intense expressions.

Alex 'Skyhawk' Justice: "Fangs of Despair... Count Vlad... you think blindsiding us was going to send some kind of message? You think attacking the World Tag Team Champions makes you look strong? Nah, all you did was light a fire under Steel Justice!"

Kellyn 'The Raven Archer' Chrisari, pacing back and forth, his eyes laser-focused, steps in with a tone full of controlled anger.

Kellyn 'The Raven Archer' Chrisari:  You caught us off guard once, and yeah, you landed your cheap shots. But now, it's time to face the consequences. The Fangs of Despair wanna step into the ring with Steel Justice at Zero Hour? You’ve got it!"

Alex slaps his championship belt, making the metal clang, drawing the camera’s attention to the titles.

Alex 'Skyhawk' Justice: "We heard you loud and clear, Count Vlad. Your precious Fangs of Despair think they’re ready to run through us? They’re in for a rude awakening! You see, Steel Justice doesn’t back down from a fight—especially not from some wannabe vampires!"

Kellyn, eyes narrowing, points directly into the camera as if speaking straight to Count Vlad.

Kellyn 'The Raven Archer' Chrisari:  "Vlad, you love playing mind games, but when the bell rings, your tricks won't mean a damn thing. The Fangs? They’re in for a reckoning at Zero Hour. And let’s be crystal clear, you don’t step into the ring with us unless you’re ready for war."

Alex moves in closer to the camera, his voice now a low, menacing growl.

Alex 'Skyhawk' Justice:  "You wanna take our titles? You better come with more than cheap shots and sneak attacks. Because at Zero Hour, the Fangs of Despair will find out why Steel Justice is the backbone of this division. We're not just champions... we are justice!"

Kellyn 'The Raven Archer' Chrisari:  "So bring it! Bring your fangs, bring your tricks, bring your whole damn Dominion. At Zero Hour, Steel Justice will take you down. You can count on that."

They bump fists, showing a unified front, and walk off the set, leaving the final words hanging in the air: "We’ll see you at Zero Hour."

Match #4: The Dynamic Duo vs the Flaggship

The Flaggship came out first to massive booing from the crowd.  Col. Flagg took great pleasure in flipping as many of the fans off as he could. Rex Rampage looked menacing as he entered the ring.  After provoking the fans enough, the music changes and out comes the Dynamic Duo to a solid pop from this crowd.  They high fived a few fans and then rushed to the ring leaping over the top rope and getting the fans to pop even louder.  Flagg tried to tell them to shut up but it only made things worse for them.

The match between the Dynamic Duo and the Flaggship kicked off with intensity as Chris "Thunderstrike" Thompson immediately took control, delivering a powerful DDT to Col. Samuel Flagg, who struggled to counter.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:  "Thompson wastes no time! That DDT is setting the pace for this match!"

Despite the early momentum, Flagg managed to survive the pin attempt, showing his resilience. After tagging in his partner, Rex Rampage, the Flaggship started to turn the tide with ruthless double-teaming. A combination of Short Arm Clotheslines and a Piledriver left Thunderstrike reeling, and Rampage and Flagg began to dominate.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:  "Flagg and Rampage are showing exactly why they’re so dangerous. They’re cutting the ring in half and keeping Thunderstrike isolated."

Even under heavy assault, Chris "Thunderstrike" Thompson fought through the pain and managed to tag in Mike 'the Rebel' Matthews. Matthews came in like a storm, landing a series of Elbow Smashes and grounding Rex Rampage with a Backsnapper that had the crowd on their feet.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:  "Here comes the Rebel! Matthews is lighting up the ring with those brutal strikes!"

The two teams continued to battle fiercely, with Flaggship trying to regain control, but the Dynamic Duo’s teamwork and high energy made it difficult. Col. Samuel Flagg tried to regain the upper hand with his Patriotic Inverted Slam, but Matthews refused to stay down, kicking out of Flagg’s pin attempt.

In the final moments, Mike 'the Rebel' Matthews hit his devastating Backsnapper on Flagg, securing a clean pinfall:

1...2...3!

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:  "Matthews gets the pin! The Dynamic Duo takes the win! What an effort from these two!"

The Dynamic Duo celebrated their hard-earned victory as Flaggship was left frustrated, unable to secure the win despite their efforts to control the match. The fans rallied behind Thunderstrike and The Rebel, who showed that their determination and teamwork are a force to be reckoned with in the HCW tag division.

Backstage:

The camera focuses on the closed door of GM Max McGillicutty's office. Inside, muffled voices rise in volume, the unmistakable tones of Count Vlad and Max McGillicutty locked in a heated exchange. Max’s voice is firm, but it's Count Vlad’s sinister, smooth tone that sends chills through the air, dripping with confidence.

Suddenly, the door swings open, and Count Vlad strides out, his cape billowing behind him, an ominous grin plastered on his face. In his hand, he clutches a piece of paper, which he folds carefully before tucking it into his coat pocket. He seems… triumphant.

Count Vlad:  "Ahh, what a satisfying turn of events. The wheels are in motion, and soon… everything will fall into place." (His voice trails off as he speaks to himself.)

Vlad stops for a moment, gazing down the hallway with a sharp, predatory look. The lights flicker slightly, casting long shadows, but one shadow, in particular, seems to shift unnaturally. The camera zooms in on a dark figure lurking just behind a corner—barely visible but clearly watching. The mole, perhaps? Their presence is unmistakable but their identity remains obscured.

Count Vlad:  "Ah… the loyal eyes in the shadows. You do well to stay hidden… for now."

Vlad smirks knowingly, as if fully aware of the mole's presence. He turns his head slightly toward the shadowed figure, not fully revealing what he knows but offering just enough to make the moment unsettling.

He continues walking down the hallway, his footsteps echoing ominously as the figure in the shadows remains still, eyes trained on him. As Vlad fades into the distance, the camera lingers on the shadowed figure, who begins to move ever so slightly, barely stepping out of the darkness before retreating further back, unseen.

Inside the office, Max McGillicutty can be seen sitting at his desk, visibly frustrated. His hands rub through his hair as he exhales deeply, clearly unsettled by whatever transpired in the meeting. He mutters something under his breath before standing up to pace.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson (voiceover):  "What did Count Vlad walk out of that meeting with? What’s on that paper, and more importantly, who is that lurking figure?"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris (voiceover):  "Mike, I don’t like it. That figure in the shadows… is that the mole everyone’s been whispering about? If they’re working for Vlad, HCW is in serious trouble. And Steel Justice... well, they're walking into a trap!"

The camera cuts back to Count Vlad, who exits the hallway, disappearing into the depths of the arena. The tension in the air lingers, as the shadowy figure remains hidden, but their allegiance to Vlad is now more than just suspicion.

The screen fades to black, leaving a sense of danger and mystery hanging over HCW’s upcoming events.

The camera cuts backstage to Zack Brown, pacing back and forth in a dimly lit room, the tension visible in his eyes. He stops, staring directly into the camera, gripping the straps of his combat vest as if preparing for battle.

Zack Brown:  "Rich Athlete, you’ve been riding high for too long. You’ve been hiding behind your money, your arrogance, and that manager of yours—Ruth Heartless. But tonight? None of that’s gonna save you."

Zack's voice is calm but intense, a soldier ready for war.

Zack Brown:  "You may have the US Title right now, but that’s temporary. You see, I've been through worse battles than this. I’ve fought for honor, for pride, and tonight, I’m fighting to take back what’s rightfully mine."

He pauses for a second, his expression hardening.

Zack Brown:  "Rich Athlete, you think your money makes you better than everyone else. But in that ring, it’s not about gold chains or designer suits—it’s about heart. And I’ve got more heart than you’ll ever have, more fight than you could ever imagine."

Zack straightens up, focused and ready.

Zack Brown:  "Tonight, I’m bringing the fight to you. No distractions, no excuses. I’m cashing in on this rematch, and when I leave that ring, I’m walking out with the US Title, and you... you’ll be nothing but a memory."

He slams his fists together.

Zack Brown:  "Consider this your final mission... and you’re about to fail."

He walks off with purpose, ready to reclaim the gold.

The scene shifts backstage to the Rich Athlete, standing tall with the US Championship gleaming on his shoulder. Beside him, the ever-stylish Ruth Heartless exudes confidence. The Rich Athlete, dressed in an extravagant designer suit and gold-rimmed sunglasses, lets out a smug chuckle before addressing the camera.

Rich Athlete:  "Wooo! Commando Zack Brown! Lemme tell you something, big man—you had your little moment in the spotlight, but that’s all it was, baby—a moment! A flash in the pan, a blip on the radar! Much like your entire career!"

He grins, adjusting his sunglasses, soaking in the arrogance as Ruth nods approvingly beside him.

Ruth Heartless:  "Zack, honey, tonight you’re stepping into the ring with a man of class, of style, of riches—the kind of wealth and power you can only dream of! You’ll never be in his league, dumbo."

Rich Athlete:  "Wooo! You’re lookin' at the stylin’, profilin’, limousine ridin’, jet flyin’, kiss stealin’, wheelin’ dealin’ US Champion! Zack, you can lace up those combat boots all you want, but let me tell you something—you’re stepping in with a man who’s been to the top of the mountain! This title... Wooo! This title right here, my US Championship, it doesn’t belong to some grungy, wannabe commando who plays soldier boy on the weekends. It belongs to me, the best—the man who’s kissed more women, driven faster cars, and lived in bigger mansions than you’ll ever dream of!"

He taps the US Title with FLAIR, flashing his signature smile as Ruth claps beside him.

Ruth Heartless:  "Zack, after tonight, the only thing you’ll be commando-ing is your way out of the arena! You should thank us for giving you one last chance to fail in front of the world. It’s gonna be glorious to watch you fail."

Rich Athlete:  "Wooo! And when the dust settles, Zack, you’ll be down on the mat looking up at the man with the gold—because that’s where I always am! At the top! The Rich Athlete doesn’t apologize—because when you’re the best there is, there’s nothing to apologize for! Wooo!"

He struts, twirling the US Title on his shoulder, soaking in his own aura as Ruth smirks beside him. The camera zooms in on the gold as they walk off, leaving nothing but the echo of arrogance and the promise of domination.

"Wooo!"

Match #5: The Main Event: US Title Match:  The Rich Athlete vs The Commando.

The arena lights dim as the crowd buzzes in anticipation. The familiar sound of Zack Brown’s military-themed entrance music kicks in, drums pounding like a marching army. The lights flash red and blue as the Commando makes his way to the stage, his eyes locked on the ring with a deadly focus. He throws a few salute gestures to the crowd before marching down the ramp, looking every bit like the soldier ready for combat.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:  "Here comes the Commando! Zack Brown is on a mission tonight, and he’s got nothing but the US Title on his mind. After being denied the for so long, you can feel the intensity coming off him!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:  "Yeah, Mike, Zack Brown’s all business tonight, but the Rich Athlete isn’t someone you can just walk through. This rematch might be the hardest battle Zack’s ever faced!"

Zack steps into the ring, eyes never leaving the entrance, waiting for his opponent with a cold, calculating glare.

Suddenly, the mood shifts as “Fortune and Fame” blares through the speakers. Gold confetti begins to fall from the ceiling as The Rich Athlete struts out onto the stage, US Title draped across his shoulder, sunglasses gleaming under the bright lights. Ruth Heartless walks beside him, her sultry smile never leaving her face as they bask in the spotlight. The Rich Athlete takes his time, soaking in the boos from the crowd as if they fuel his ego.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson:  "Here comes the man who defines arrogance, the man who calls himself 'The Rich Athlete.' Look at that smug look on his face, Johnny!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris:  "He’s the US Champion for a reason, Mike. Love him or hate him, the man knows how to win. But can he outlast the Commando in this high-stakes rematch?"

The Rich Athlete takes his time down the ramp, taunting the fans as Ruth follows closely, pointing at the title belt on his shoulder. They both climb into the ring, and Rich takes a long, exaggerated bow in the center, showcasing his prized US Title for the crowd, while Ruth claps approvingly from the side.

The atmosphere crackles with tension as both men lock eyes from across the ring. The US Title is on the line, and the battle for supremacy is about to begin...

In a highly anticipated clash, the ring was electric as Zack "Commando" Brown faced off against The Rich Athlete, a match that promised intensity and excitement. The crowd roared in anticipation as both competitors made their way to the ring, each one eyeing the victory that would propel them closer to championship glory.

The action kicked off with The Rich Athlete showcasing his technical prowess, executing a precise Shin Breaker that left Zack momentarily stunned. However, the Commando quickly retaliated with his signature Lawman Lariat, demonstrating his resilience. The audience was on the edge of their seats, and the match was heating up.

As the competition progressed, The Rich Athlete landed a devastating Million Dollar Kneedrop, but Zack wasn’t out of the fight yet. He countered with another Lawman Lariat, proving he could hold his own. The Rich Athlete maintained a slight edge, showcasing his skill and cunning in the ring.

Zack found his rhythm and executed a Sniper Strike, stunning The Rich Athlete and gaining momentum. However, The Rich Athlete, ever the opportunist, reversed Zack's Backbreaker attempt and executed a Seven-Figure Suplex, leaving the Commando reeling. Just when it seemed Zack was down for the count, he showed his grit and managed to kick out of a pin attempt.

The tension continued to build as both wrestlers exchanged powerful strikes. The Rich Athlete landed another Million Dollar Kneedrop, but Zack responded with a Football Tackle, leading to a thrilling back-and-forth that kept the audience on their toes.

Then came a pivotal moment when The Rich Athlete executed a Hurl Out of the Ring, sending Zack crashing to the outside. As the referee began the count, The Rich Athlete cunningly distracted the official, allowing Sterling 'The Silicon Tycoon' Silverman to slip in from the crowd. With the referee's back turned, Sterling attacked Zack, catching him off guard and delivering a brutal assault.

The crowd erupted in boos, realizing the unfair tactics at play. Zack struggled to recover from the surprise attack, but with the referee still oblivious, he was left vulnerable. As the count climbed, Zack fought to get back into the ring, but time was against him. As the referee reached ten, Zack was counted out, handing the victory to The Rich Athlete. As the bell rang, the atmosphere shifted from one of excitement to disappointment.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: “What an incredible match, but what a heartbreaking way for Zack 'Commando' Brown to lose! Counted out after such a valiant effort? This is a disgrace!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: “Absolutely, Mike! The Rich Athlete and his Million Dollar Alliance played dirty tonight! This isn’t over; you can bet Zack will want his revenge!”

As the crowd buzzed, General Manager Max McGillicutty made his way to the stage, the energy palpable as fans cheered for the man who always stood for fairness in HCW. With microphone in hand, the arena quieted down, eager to hear what he had to say.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I know you’re as frustrated as I am! What we just witnessed was not just a match; it was an absolute travesty! Zack 'Commando' Brown fought his heart out tonight, only to be betrayed by the underhanded tactics of The Rich Athlete and his so-called Million Dollar Alliance! This is professional wrestling, not a circus act! I will not stand idly by while these clowns manipulate the rules to suit their needs!”

The audience erupted with applause, clearly supportive of Max’s stance.

“Now, Zack deserves better than being counted out because of cheap shots and distractions! So, I’m here to make things right! At Zero Hour, Zack will get one more shot at the US Title, and it will be inside a Steel Cage! That’s right, folks! No interference, no tricks, just pure, unadulterated wrestling! This time, it’s going to be Zack against The Rich Athlete in a match that will settle the score once and for all!”

Max paused for a moment, allowing the cheers to wash over him.

“So get ready! Because at Zero Hour, we're going to see who the real champion is when all the gimmicks are stripped away! Zack, bring your heart, your grit, and your determination because you're going to need every bit of it!  And as for you, Rich Athlete, you’d better be prepared, because once that door slams shut, there’s no way out!”

With that, Max raised his fist in the air, a symbol of determination and justice, as the crowd exploded with excitement, fully behind the promise of an epic showdown.  Ruth and the Rich Athlete hollered at Max from the ramp but he turned and walked away.  Ruth, Sterling, and the Rich Athlete all stormed to the back.  The show came to an end with the Commando interacting with the fans.

With this bombshell, Zero Hour continues to gather the best matches for the best fans in any wrestling world.  The Elimination Chamber is up next.  Stay Tuned.
