Hello fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. Tonight, members of the Albano family will be in action with Luciana making her in-ring debut. Tonight, she takes on someone she tried injure – Violet Valkyrie. She attacked Violet on a couple of occasions and now Violet wants to exact some revenge. We will also be introducing a new face to HCW. He is actually up right now.
[The arena is buzzing with
anticipation as the lights dim, and a folksy tune reminiscent of a small-town
gathering begins to play. A spotlight shines on the entrance ramp as Otis
Peabody Cunningham, affectionately known as OP, steps into the limelight,
wearing classic overalls and sporting a warm smile.]
OP: "Well, howdy there, ladies
and gents! OP’s in the house, and let me tell ya, it's a real pleasure to be
standin' here in the heart of this incredible squared circle! Now, some folks
might wonder what a simple guy like me is doin' in the wild world of wrestling,
and I'm here to tell ya, I'm just a regular fella lookin' to spread a little
joy."
[The crowd erupts with cheers as OP
waves and tips his hat to the fans.]
OP: "You see, in my neck of the
woods, we believe in kindness, respect, and treatin' others the way you wanna
be treated. And that's exactly what I aim to bring right here, to this ring.
I'm here for each and every one of ya, the young'uns, the old-timers, and
everyone in between!"
[OP pauses, looking around the arena
with a twinkle in his eye.]
OP: "Now, don't you worry none
about fancy moves or big egos with me. I'm just a good ol' boy who loves to
have a good time and share a smile or two. I'm here to make friends, spread
some laughter, and, well, maybe toss a few folks over that there top rope if
need be!"
[The crowd laughs and cheers, fully
embracing the charm of OP’s down-home demeanor.]
OP: "So, whether you're sittin'
at home or right here in the crowd, remember that OP’s got your back. We're
gonna have a rootin' tootin' good time together, and I can't wait to share the
joy of wrestling with each and every one of ya! Y'all ready for some fun?"
[The crowd roars with approval as OP
raises his arms in excitement, basking in the warmth of the fans' adoration.
His entrance signals the beginning of a new chapter, where the spirit of the
down-home hero, Otis Peabody Cunningham, brings a touch of simplicity and joy
to the world of professional wrestling.]
OP stays in the
ring and awaits his opponent.
Match #1: OP
Cunningham vs Baron von Blood
Baron von Blood
enters the ring and begins to take verbal cheap shots at OP. OP just stands there and smiles which makes
Baron irate. Baron immediately attacks
OP with a flurry of flying fists. OP
locks him in a bearhug only to set him down and drop him with a huge
clothesline. Baron tries for a stomach
claw but it has little effect. OP hits a
falling powerslam and makes the cover for a 2 count. OP scoop slams Baron. Baron tries to exit the ring but OP shoulder
blocks him off the apron. Baron hits the
floor but is back in the ring by the count of 3. OP slams him to the mat again and then locks
in a bearhug. He really is targeting
Baron’s back. Baron hits a low blow but
it barely fazes the big man. OP nails
not one but two running big splashes and that was it for the Baron. A 3 count later and the Otis Peabody
Cunningham gets his first win. The fans
cheer him. He leaves the ring shaking
hands with them as he heads to the back.
Baron von Blood had to be peeled up from the mat. (10 min)
Backstage, Pierre
Boulay meets with Wilber Townsend.
Something fishy is going on here.
Match #2:
Apollo Gyze & the Wicked Prophet vs Biceps Bannerman and ???
First,
the team of the Wicked Prophet and Apollo Gyze come out after the annoying “APOLLO
GYZE DON’T APOLOGIZE” blares out of the loudspeakers. The nefarious duo head to the ring. Shortly thereafter, Biceps Bannerman comes
out to a nice pop from the crowd. He
introduces his surprise partner – World Champion Starbuck Steel. The two meet on the stage as the fans pop
hits deafening levels. They head to the
ring.
Clash of the Titans
The arena was electric with
anticipation as the wrestling faithful eagerly awaited the clash between good
and evil. In one corner, the nefarious duo of Apollo Gyze, the unapologetic
villain, and the Wicked Prophet, a sinister force draped in mystery. In the
other corner stood the powerhouse Biceps Bannerman, a mountain of muscle that
struck fear into any opponent, and the reigning World Champion, the resilient
Starbuck Steel.
As the bell rang, chaos erupted in
the ring. The heels, Apollo Gyze and the Wicked Prophet, wasted no time
employing their bag of dirty tricks. Low blows, eye pokes, and illegal tags
became their modus operandi. The referee, struggling to maintain control,
warned the heels but to no avail.
Apollo Gyze, a master manipulator,
taunted the audience with a sly grin. He spat in the face of sportsmanship,
using every opportunity to bend the rules. On the opposite end, Biceps
Bannerman, fueled by the crowd's energy, stood as a beacon of justice. His
thunderous power slams and bone-crushing suplexes showcased his dominance.
Meanwhile, the Wicked Prophet relied
on mystifying mind games. He toyed with Starbuck Steel's psyche, unsettling the
champion with cryptic gestures. The Prophet's presence cast a shadow over the
contest.
The match reached its halfway point,
the animosity between the two teams intensified. Biceps Bannerman, fed up with
the underhanded tactics, unleashed a flurry of fists on Apollo Gyze, sending
him sprawling to the outside. Starbuck Steel, with fire in his eyes, took on
the Wicked Prophet, determined to expose the villain's wicked ways.
As the clock ticked down, chaos
reigned supreme. Apollo Gyze, seeking revenge, re-entered the ring with a steel
chair in hand. Biceps Bannerman intercepted him, and the two engaged in a
chair-wielding duel, crashing and clanging to the roar of the crowd. Meanwhile,
the Wicked Prophet and Starbuck Steel continued their fierce battle, both men pushing
the boundaries of fair play.
The referee, unable to restore
order, threw the match into disarray. With chairs scattered in the ring and the
combatants locked in a chaotic struggle, he had no choice but to declare a
double disqualification. The crowd erupted in a mix of cheers and boos as
security rushed to the ring to separate the warring factions.
Though the match had no clear
winner, the intensity and unpredictability of the clash left an indelible mark
on the minds of the fans. The bitter rivalry between Apollo Gyze, the Wicked
Prophet, Biceps Bannerman, and Starbuck Steel promised that the war was far
from over, and the battleground of the squared circle would witness more epic
clashes between good and evil in the future.
GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says
that this is not over. He says that in
some way, shape or form, there will be a specialty match put into place for
both the confrontations between Apollo/Biceps and Starbuck/Prophet.
Match #3: Six
Man Tag Team Qualifier match: The Albano Family vs the Muscles Trio
Next on the card
is a qualifying match for the Six Man Tag Team Championship. First out are the Muscles Trio – Thorpe,
McGuire and Weasley. They goof around as
they head to the ring and then do some moves that the crowd cheers along
to. Their music is abruptly shut off and
Pierre Boulay comes out and introduces this audience (and those watching from
home) to the Albano Family – Aldo and Carlo Albano with their “enforcer”, the
very stiff Rigg A Mortis. They are
heavily booed as they make their way to the ring. The no-nonsense heels immediately go on the
offensive but the experience of the Muscles Trio takes over. Aldo was taken out during the middle of the
match which infuriated Carlo, Rigg and Pierre.
The heat got turned up and things started to go the way of the Albano
Family. Eventually Aldo rejoined his
team and once he got tagged in, he let the Trio have it. After tagging in Rigg, Aldo and Carlo took
out Thorpe and Weasley. McGuire hit Rigg
with a Boom Drop Jumping Double leg but Rigg just no-sold it, grabbed McGuire
and hurled him out of the ring. Rigg
followed him out of the ring and smashed him into the steel post. He rolled back in just before the 10 count
and once the ref counted to 10, he counted McGuire out and awarded the match to
the Albano Family. (28 ½ min). Pierre joined Aldo, Carlo and Rigg in the
ring and raised their arms in victory.
Pierre gets on the mic and says beating the Muscles makes them the #1
contenders for the Six Man titles. They
are officially cashing in at the PPV.
The family heads
to the back but Pierre stays on the stage.
He introduces Luciana Albano and the powerhouse comes out. DAMN, she is massive. The fans boo as they head to the ring. Once there, Luciana takes the mic and calls
out Violet Valkyrie. She knows Violet
has been trying to get her in the ring but here she is and she is waiting. The music hits and out comes Violet. The fans explode for the fan favorite. Violet does not rush to the ring. She
methodically walks down keeping an eye on Luciana and her weasel of a manager
Pierre. She gets in the ring and has a
mic. She tells Luciana she cost her and
now Violet is here to collect. Luciana
tells her to ‘bring it’.
Match #4:
Luciana Albano vs Violet Valkyrie.
The arena pulsed with anticipation
as two fierce competitors, Violet Valkyrie and Luciana Albano, clashed in the
squared circle. The air was charged with excitement as the bell rang, signaling
the beginning of what promised to be a thrilling bout.
In the opening moments, both women
jockeyed for control, each executing powerful moves to gain an early advantage.
Violet Valkyrie, the fan favorite, struck first with a precision JUMPING KNEE
SMASH. Luciana Albano, however, retaliated
with a thunderous Full Nelson Slam setting the tone for a back-and-forth
battle.
As the match progressed, Violet
attempted to rally, but Luciana's Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster proved
effective. The crowd's cheers for Violet echoed through the arena, urging her
to press on. As the match approached its
midpoint, Violet's RUNNING CLOTHESLINE met resistance from Luciana, who
neutralized the attack. The momentum
shifted with each passing minute, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats.
A RUNNING ONE-HANDED BULLDOG from
Violet looked like it was going to help.
The tension escalated when Violet unleashed a powerful RUNNING
CLOTHESLINE, but the weasel-like manager, Pierre Boulay, intervened with a HOLD
FOE FOR ATTACK. Violet found herself on
the defensive, setting the stage for a critical turning point. Luciana executed a Sole Food. Violet
attempted to defend but Luciana's offensive prowess remained evident. The
crowd's energy intensified as Violet found herself on the defensive.
The eighth minute witnessed a
strategic move by Pierre Boulay, who slipped a foreign object to his protégé,
Luciana. The underhanded tactic allowed Luciana inflict more damage, while
Violet, despite her defensive effort, absorbed the punishment. Pierre’s
interference further benefitted Luciana’s offensive onslaught.
As we entered the final minute of
the match, Luciana delivered a punishing Vertical Suplex and seizing the
opportunity, attempted a pin. The referee's count reached three, signaling the
end of the match.
Luciana Albano emerged victorious
with a Vertical Suplex pin over Violet Valkyrie. The audience, a mix of
disappointed and awe-struck, watched as Luciana celebrated her hard-fought
triumph. However, the conclusion of the match marked the beginning of a new chapter,
as Luciana's victory celebration took a dark turn with her weasel manager,
Pierre Boulay, revealing a sinister plan to inflict further harm on the fallen
Violet Valkyrie.
Pierre entered the ring with a smug
grin on his face. He handed Luciana a microphone as the crowd's cheers turned
to jeers. "Violet Valkyrie, you
thought you could stand against the might of Luciana Albano, but you were
wrong. Dead wrong!" Luciana taunted, her voice echoing through the
arena. As Luciana continued to boast
about her victory, Violet slowly began to stir on the mat. The fans in the
arena, still firmly behind their fallen hero, started chanting Violet's name in
a show of support.
But Luciana and Pierre had no
intention of letting Violet leave unscathed. Luciana signaled to Pierre, and he
slid a steel chair into the ring. Luciana grabbed the chair, a sinister smile
on her face as she approached the dazed Violet.
Before Luciana could deliver a
crushing blow, the arena lights flickered, and a hush fell over the audience.
Suddenly, the lights went out, and a chilling music filled the air. The
Omegatron displayed a mysterious message: "It’s SMASHING TIME."
As the lights returned, a hooded
figure stood in the ring, kendo stick in hand. The crowd erupted in cheers as
the figure attacked Luciana and Pierre, driving them out of the ring. The
hooded savior then approached Violet, helping her to her feet.
The hooded figure revealed herself
to be Ladies Champion Korbi Kong, Violet's longtime friend and ally. The
crowd's cheers reached a deafening roar as Korbi stood tall alongside Violet,
staring down Luciana and Pierre, who stewed with frustration etched on their
faces.
However, the celebration was
short-lived. As Violet and Korbi embraced, Luciana seized the opportunity for a
final act of vengeance. With a steel chair in hand, Luciana blindsided Violet,
delivering a brutal blow to her already weakened body. She dropped Korbi with a chair shot to the
stomach and hurled her out of the ring.
She continued smashing Violet with the chair (we counted at least
15 chair shots). The crowd gasped as Violet lay
crumpled to the mat, writhing in pain. Korbi rushed to her friend's side, but
Luciana and Pierre escaped through the crowd, leaving chaos in their wake.
The medics rushed to tend to Violet,
and it was clear that Luciana's post-match attack had taken a toll. The fans,
once filled with cheers, were now outraged by the underhanded tactics of
Luciana Albano and questioned Violet’s future.
As Violet was carefully placed on a
stretcher and taken to the back, Korbi Kong stared down the ramp with a burning
determination. The story of the rivalry had taken a dark turn, and the war between
Violet Valkyrie and Luciana Albano was far from over and now Korbi wants
revenge.
Match #5: US
Title Match: Jack Lumber vs Oswald
Zimmerman
5th
Column member Oswald Zimmerman comes out to booing from the crowd. He flips them off and makes his way to the
ring. Once there, the music quickly
changes and we hear “TIMMMBERRRR” and out comes everyone’s favorite flannel
wearing lumberjack Jack Lumber. The pop
from the crowd is deafening. Jack stops
by the Lumber Lounge and then makes his way to the ring. The US Champion holds the title high as the
crowd cheers him on. He hands the title
to the ref and then is attacked by Oswald, starting off this match.
The match was
surprisingly even for the majority of the show.
Both men hit their finishers but each kicked out with time to
spare. We join the match at the 20
minute mark.

Jack Lumber gets
the win and retains his title. The fans
pop huge for the flannel man. Just then,
out of nowhere, Wilber Townsend shows up.
He sneaks up behind Jack and looks like he’s going to attach but then
backs up. Jack turns around to see him
and was a little shocked there was no attack.
Wilber reminds him they have a match in a few weeks and Jack best be
prepared. Wilber leaves with no further
interaction. The mind games continue.
Backstage, Ladies Champion Korbi Kong is
with Violet who is being loaded into an ambulance. Violet tells her to go defend her title but
Korbi says she wants to stay with her friend.
Violet insists and Korbi grabs her hand before leaving and heading to
the ring for her match.
Chloe Parker comes out first and is
booed. She sneers at the fans and makes
her way to the ring. She jaw jacks with
the fans before turning her attention to the ramp. The loudspeakers blare out “Korbi Kong Smash”
and the fans explode for the Ladies Champion Korbi Kong. Korbi is all serious and immediately runs
down to the ring. She wants this match
over so she can go to the hospital.
Chloe tells her not to dismiss her.
Match #6: Main
Event: Ladies Title Match: Korbi Kong vs Chloe Parker

Korbi gets the
quick win and the fans and has her arm raised and she turns to leave and looks
up at the stage only to see Luciana Albano standing there smirking. Luciana gets on the mic and says that if
Korbi is looking for revenge, she is looking for a title match. Luciana then says she is officially
challenging Korbi for the title at the PPV.
Korbi accepts and rushes out of the ring and goes right after Luciana. The two brawl and after blinding Korbi with a
vicious eye rake, she grabs Korbi and hurls her off the stage to the floor
below. Korbi crashes through boxes and
miscellaneous stuff at the bottom of the stage.
Luciana stands tall on the stage looking down at Korbi on the floor
below. She has an evil smirk on her face
as the show comes to an end.
