Hello fans and welcome to Day 2 of HCW’s Critical Mass PPV. Today’s show continues the hard hitting action you saw on Day 1 but will be kicked up a notch. 3 of tonight’s matches will be specialty rules. Starting with our US title match, champion Wilber Townsend will take on Maximillian Redbeard in a Concession Stand Brawl match. Not to be outdone, the Six Man titles will be on the line as the champions Tommy Lightning, ‘the Bounty Hunter’ Jake Montrose and Apollo Gyze take on former champs Dennis Marshall, Phantom Frank and Casper Wyoming in a War Games rules match. Finally, in our main event, the Ladies Title is on the line with best friends Violet Valkyrie (champion) taking on Korbi Kong in a Last Woman Standing match. Tonight will be a real slobber knocker so let’s get to the action.
Our event starts
off with the Smashers (#1 and 2) making their way out to massive boos from the crowd. The heels of course flip the fans off which
only makes them more irate. They get
into the ring, continuing to jaw jack with the fans until the music changes and
out comes the Freedom Fighters Flash and Justice. Justice gets on the mic and tells the Smashers
that they are doing wrong by insulting the fans. This got them a pop. The Smasher motion for their opponents to
come to the ring and the FF oblige. This
one was pure chaos from the get go. The
ref had lots of issues trying to keep order but the Smashers continued to tag
each other in illegally. The FF had
enough and began to beat the snot out of their opponents and held that
advantage right up until the end. In the
final minute of the match, the Smashers tried to double team Flash but Justice
took him out of the ring. Smasher #1
hits a European uppercut and Flash hits the Destino. Just as Flash was going for the pin, the bell
rang bringing this one to a time limit draw.
The Smashers surprisingly left the ring almost immediately. It doesn’t seem like this one is settled and
the fans were a bit disappointed in the first bout ending in a draw. The FF stayed and interacted with the fans
for a few minutes before departing.
GM Max
McGillicutty comes out thanking the fans for coming to the event tonight. A few fans were vocal about the draw right
off the bat. Max says he hears the fans
loud and clear. He says that the Six Man
Tag Team title match as well as the Ladies title match will be no time limit
matches. The fans pop for that.
Our next match is
ready to go. First, Billy Robbins comes
out to a nice pop from the crowd. As he’s
making his way to the ring, his opponent Madman Mason comes running down and
attacks him from behind. He hurls Billy
into the steel steps and smashes his back against the ringpost before rolling
him into the ring. The ref was ready to
throw the match out but Billy pleaded (and winced) to let the match continue. Mason went for the attack just as the bell
rang but it seemed Billy was playing possum.
Billy took the fight to Mason hitting a slingshot smash in the first
minute and getting a 2 count. 5 minutes later, Billy would hit the slingshot
smash again and score another 2 count.
He climbed to the top rope and jumped hitting a flying elbow smash. The hooked the leg but Mason kicked out
again. At the 15 minute mark, Mason was
trying to suplex Billy out of the ring but Robbins managed to reverse it and
got Mason up and hit a slingshot suplex.
Billy rolled Mason up and with a secure hook of the leg, got the
1-2-3. Billy Robbins gets the win and
the fans pop huge for him. As Billy was
celebrating while standing on the 2nd turnbuckle, Mason attacked him
nailing him with a powerbomb. He dragged
Billy to the outside of the ring and rammed his head into the steel post
busting him open. Mason then pulled up
the padding on the outside of the ring and then delivered a piledriver on to
the exposed concrete. Billy is a bloody
mess. Refs and medics were out there
immediately to get Mason off him and get Billy on the stretcher and to the back
for an emergency evaluation. Mason got
back in the ring and began cackling.
Eventually, security came out and escorted Mason to the back as the fans
pelted him with drink cups and half empty nacho containers.
There was a couple
of minutes break as the ring crew came out to clean things up and set
everything right. We are now ready for
our next match. Maximillian Redbeard
comes out first to a huge pop from the crowd.
He climbs into the ring by stepping over the top rope. He interacts with the fans until the lights
go dim and an eerie music begins to play.
Out comes the US Champion Wilber Townsend. Wilber gets on the mic and tells Redbeard
that what just happened to Billy will happen to him if he doesn’t leave
now. Redbeard lays across the top ropes
and yawns as if he is bored with what Wilber is saying. Wilber gets a bit pissed and makes his way to
the ring.

Worlds gets the win over Maximillian. He
tried to do some extra damage to Redbeard but Maximillian recovered enough to
send Wilber flying over the top rope to the floor. Wilber cursed and screamed at Redbeard but
left without any further incident.
Maximillian stayed and interacted with the fans before heading to the
back.
For the first time
in HCW history, we are hosting our very own Wargames event. The crowd is electric for this match and
really hope to see the trio of Apollo, Montrose and Tommy get theirs. The challengers come out first and the fans
pop huge as Dennis Marshall, Phantom Frank and Casper Wyoming all make their
way out. They shake hands and high five
the fans as they make their way to the 2 side by side rings. The Champions came out next interrupting the
fan favorite’s music. This match will
have no time limit and is also no DQ so there must be a winner. An extra-large cage is lowered encompassing
both rings. No one is going anywhere.

Its former HCW employee Derek Deveraux.
He has a chair in hand and tells Tommy they need to take Frank out right
here and now. Tommy laughs as Frank
tries to back off but in the cage, there is nowhere to go. Derek goes to take a swing at Frank only to
turn and BLAST Tommy in the head with it.
Tommy falls to the mat out cold.
Derek looks at Apollo who puts his hands up like he wants none of
that. Frank picks Tommy up and then…

And just like
that, we have NEW Six Man Tag Team Champions.
The cages are raised and crew immediate comes out to dismantle one of
the rings. The new champions stayed and
interacted with the fans while all that was going on. Replays kept being shown on the Omegatron of
Derek laying out Tommy and then blasting Apollo which the fans really
enjoyed. The champs left once the area
was once again cleaned up.
HCW will be going
on a longer hiatus through the end of summer into fall. A promo runs for a new interviewer and his
segment. The individual is called “Mr. B
Wax” and his show will be called “None of your B’s Wax”.
It is time for our
Main Event. The lights go out as the
Omegatron lights up with a montage from tonight’s challenger Korbi Kong. Once the montage/video finished, Korbi makes
her way out to a HUGE pop from the crowd.
Korbi comes through the curtain and the fans explode in excitement. Korbi is the underdog here but she is 100%
ready. Nothing will stand in her way of
winning the title tonight. Once in the ring,
the music changed and fog filled the stage.
Pyro goes off as well as a light show and the champion comes zipping
down to the ring on a zip line. Once
over the ring, she lowers herself till she’s standing in the ring. Korbi steps aside and lets her bestie get her
own pop from the crowd. Once that was
done, the two friends met in the center of the ring. The ref held the Ladies title high and said
that there had been a slight change to the rules. Not only would this be a Last Woman Standing
match but it would be under Iron Woman rules where the winner of 2 of 3 falls
would be declared the winner. The
friends shook hands and got ready to get down to business.
This one got rough
and ready with both women bringing their A games. The first fall went to Violet after she
caught Korbi in a Triangle Choke and Korbi tapped to avoid any further
damage. Violet 1; Korbi 0.
Fall #2 goes to
Korbi Kong. Taking a page out of Violet’s
playbook, Korbi took the fight to the mat and used an Arm Triangle lock to get the
submission and even the odds at 1 and 1.

We have a NEW
LADIES CHAMPION! Korbi falls to her
knees as the ref raises her hand as the victor.
This was a hard fought win and she definitely deserved it (despite
hitting her friend in the head with a pitcher).
Korbi helps Violet to her feet and the two embrace. The fans pop is deafening. The ref goes to hand Korbi the title but
Violet stops him. She takes the title
and puts it around Korbi’s waist. She
then nods and leaves the ring. Korbi
climbs each of the corner turnbuckles with her arms in the air. The show comes to an end with Korbi
celebrating.
